Leonora Smee #4 Rollers here, rollers there, why the blasted rollers everywhere?

I know we have discussed this before, but I felt a sense of anger towards Laura Ashley for their PR event on the Pullman train. I know it's part of their marketing/PR campaign and I'm sure they wouldn't do it if it didn't increase sales but seeing Leo go on that train (of course she was beyond excited and it was THE most special day ever), with the beautiful sense of occasion, the amazing food, free champagne, beautiful setting and flowers all I could think is - give this to somebody who really deserves it. Somebody who could never, in a million years afford to go on such an outing. Somebody who has maybe been caring for a sick relative, somebody who works at a hospice, somebody who has lost their home, somebody who has lost their partner and needs a boost, somebody dealing with a cancer diagnosis etc. I know it won't ever happen, but every time I see a brand lavishing money on any of these influencers, I immediately make a mental note not to buy from them anymore.

Is Veneera pregnant or was she asking Leo to be in the wedding with the frame?
I wondered the same. Either a baby scan or maybe a photo of her in the dress she has chosen!?! Not sure, but obviously this wonderful private moment between them was filmed for us!

I assumed her brother was filming since it was shot on a camera phone but typically that’s something they would announce together. Leo overreacts to everything, so who knows. A baby is a blessing but I feel for her if she got pregnant before her wedding. It took him too long to propose. She is so svelte that she probably wouldn’t show much anyway but it sort of destroys the sequencing of events. If she is pregnant (especially with a girl), this is going to take away all the attention from Leo. Does Roger’s older children have kids or was Leo hoping to be the first to provide grandchildren? Leo no longer being the center of attention is going to really be problematic for everyone.

I can't see leo wanting to provide grandchildren unless she adopts or uses a surrogate. No way would she 1. Have sex with Mark and 2. Want to be pregnant/giving birth.
She's far too selfish.

She’s a narcissist though and wants to duplicate herself with a mini me daughter. The irony is that what she expects to be a close relationship usually turns sour and competitive in these types of situations. Pregnancy brings in huge views and attention. She will hire people to take care of the child. But she only got thin a year ago or so ago. No way is she going to destroy her Ozempic body with a baby. And she is too enraptured with her “career” to be thinking about having a baby. It’s just she sees a lot of other women her age doing it and she feels like she isn’t keeping up. Everything is a competition with her. Agreed that she isn’t sleeping with Mark very often, if at all. There is a reason he is always at the pub, or in another country altogether. What was with the reel she posted from Paris? Was that a quote from a TV show, movie or the song lyrics? She looked especially smug in Alex’s jumpsuit. All those dresses she is always hauling yet she repeats the same outfits over and over again.

Veneera may have just sold her soul to the devil. Asking Leo to be a bridesmaid will open every door. Stationery, wine, spirits, bespoke outfits, tablescapes - the whole deal - there might even be HC discreetly monogrammed on the men's jackets? Hopefully the florals will be purchased locally but who knows.

Veneera won't have had any option other that having this screaming harpie as bridesmaid.
Leo will make it all about herself, doing the pigeon toe walk down the aise, extending her neck like a camel to keep her jawline looking sharp and of course there will be faux tears and gasps every other minute.
Insufferable woman.

Just watching her YT vid of the Ascot/Silent Pool Dinner and my God, I'd get SO bored to tears of all these brands giving these tedious speeches about their brand, their thanks, their events, how wonderful they are and the guests are, waffling on about their launches, their values etc. I thought the same thing watching another similar thing she went to. I can't stand people giving speeches at the best of times, but these PR/corporate ones are so cringey, tedious and superficial. I couldn't stand going to all these events she does. The false smilies, small talk and pandering to people.

I agree. Leo really showcases how boring those events really are with the phony influencers and soulless corporate types. I wouldn’t want that job if you paid me $5M per year. They’re glorified digital salesgirls.

I thought Leo looked gorgeous in her latest reel from the Flower Show but she always has that smug, mean expression on her frozen face. Not a genuinely happy person. Just a narcissist. It’s easy to look good when you get everything handed to you for free. The throwing of things at her parents’ ceiling and blowing kisses to the camera is really insufferable. She must be extremely immature or just driven by greed to not see how much of an embarrassing disgrace she has become.

My god she is getting worse. This new throwing things into the air and tossing packaging aside, its bleeping childish and embarrassing.
The pigeon toed walking, the Bruce forsythe chin as she stares over her shoulder. I could go on and on.
There is nothing likeable about her.

"It's day two of the Chelsea Flower Show, my outfit has just arrived from Paris". Urgh. She really is getting worse. Also, true gardeners and gardening fans who actually pay for their own tickets never really dress up. Yes, they might wear a nice dress if it's sunny, but most people are fairly casual, often in flat shoes or walking shoes and are interested in the plants, gardens and exhibits, rather than posing in OTT outfits, being seen and networking.

And by the way the HC waistcoat thing you wore on day one was gaping like mad. Very ill fitting.

Jade HC did her dirty. Sent her the exact yellow outfit that she was already going to be wearing at the show.
Leo made hers sound like it was something special.

Her implants made the top not fit properly. Hardly bespoke. lol.

I can’t believe these influencers consider a garden show a major event. In the States, no one would even give an event like that a second glance. It’s a home & garden show for vendors to advertise their services. lol. What am I missing?

To be fair Chelsea Flower Show is very prestigious and impressive, but apart from the small percentage of people who go to be seen, network and show off most people who go are RHS members, keen gardeners, people into garden design and really down to earth gardening types. It's a very sort of middle class, middle England crowd mixed with a few overseas tourists who have it on their travel bucket lists. It's a shame every year more and more of these vacuous influences are getting free invites there and turning it in to some sort of fashion parade

Trade shows are now a luxury flex? lol. Influencers are literally sales people, so I guess it works out for them to infiltrate any event where brands are spending money.

The displays some of these vendors put together are impressive but I don’t think it’s worthy of being talked about like it’s the event of the season. It doesn’t really translate on camera. The intersection of down-to-earth gardening types and these pretentious, wannabe nouve riche influencers must amount to great people watching.

Good lord, she seems drunk out of her mind on day three. At every stand a new glass in her hands.

Like with so many events now, people are sick to death of influencers. Leo wouldn't have such a "wonderful, exciting" time if she had to slum it in the crowds with normal ticket holders.

Hated that massive beekeeper netting on the hat Leo wore in day 1. It looked stupid. None of the actually important guests/participants that I saw her, Josie, and others interviewing were dressed like that. She looked like she was going to a tea party in 1955. At some point in one of her RHS videos, Leo did a segment at home and her hair was straight/wavy and side parted and she looked 1000x better than usual. I wish she would do more with modern hair and normal clothes, but I guess that's not her "brand". Loved when Mummy made fun of how she poses and basically told her how ridiculous she looks. Karen may have her faults, but I do love it when she takes the piss out of Leo bc her annoyance is very evident.
