It’s so bad. Even if Brillo didn’t already exist as cleaning products, it sounds like a bogan way of saying brilliant.Wonder if they’ll explain where the name comes from

That’s where the name came fromIt’s so bad. Even if Brillo didn’t already exist as cleaning products, it sounds like a bogan way of saying brilliant.
In Spanish it means glow/radiant. Collins dictionary defines it as a scouring pad thoughWonder if they’ll explain where the name comes from
so which one of them is Spanish? How does a Spanish name fit in here? An Australian company, products made in Australia for Australian mums, it doesn’t make sense really. When I see the name Brillo I quite literally imagine these products being abrasive and rough due to the connection of the name to a scouring pad! Surely they did their research??In Spanish it means glow/radiant. Collins dictionary defines it as a scouring pad thoughI just can't. It's the worst name. They must've known
They are absolutely horrid! The only colour I actually like is the neutral one. Everything else looks like it belongs back in the 1970’s, simply hideous!
Nope.. it's pronounce 'bree-yo'... Two L's makes a y sound in Spanish. It sounds nice in Spanish. In Australian English, it's horridHow bad is her voice on camera, she sounds so amateur compared to Tegan. And she hasn’t been a beauty editor for 20 years? She loves to make her sound better than what she is
And if Brillo is a Spanish word I don’t think it’s supposed to be pronounced like Aussie slang. Possibly the worst beauty brand bane I’ve ever come across
yes!! This would have been an amazing idea. Not yet another range of pregnancy products in an already crowded beauty market. I truly don’t believe they did enough research. The products are basic, the packaging and website is basic, there’s nothing groundbreaking here, it’ll all get lost in the sea of beauty products. Now I think about it, a subscription box of existing products on the market sent through different phases of pregnancy/post partum seems like it would be more successful than this.
i noticed that too and thought it was bizarre! And then when she says that she HAD to do the range because when she was pregnant there wasn’t anything available to take her through from pregnancy to postpartum… umm what?!? You obviously didn’t look hard enough love, there are a literal TONNE of pregnancy products available and as a pregnant “beauty editor” I’m surprised she wasn’t sent millions of them.I don’t know about anyone else but when she looks at Tigga as she says “a beauty editor for 20 years” feels like she’s seeking some kind of assurance. It’s weird.. it’s the first thing I noticed before I stopped watching
That's because she's lying through her teeth. She wasn't a beauty editor back in 2002. She had barely just started shitkicking as an assistant back then. She says she didn't get into beauty until she took over from ZFB. But don't let the facts get in the way of a soundbite!I don’t know about anyone else but when she looks at Tigga as she says “a beauty editor for 20 years” feels like she’s seeking some kind of assurance. i don’t understand why she would lie about her credentials so publicly, especially when there are so many people who know her and know this isn’t true, not to mention in 2002 she was only 19 or 20 years old. A more appropriate thing to say would have been “I’ve been in the beauty industry for more than 20 years, and an editor for X amount”That's because she's lying through her teeth. ohh interesting point! Indeed she has said in the past that you can use pretty much everything during pregnancy except for vitamin A. So she’ll basically say something like she’s done more in depth research bla bla bla and that you should absolutely be using XYZ in pregnancy, otherwise she will loose all of her credibility (which there isn’t much of anyway) and she will render her new product line completely useless and no one will buy it. She’s in a pickle Isn’t she!Someone needs to find a subtle way of asking her during her next Q&A about what products/ingredients are pregnancy safe. I’m sure she will just shill brillo o and that’s cool, but will she also lose all credibility and go against everything she has always said? Will she say almost everything is fine to use and therefore that this line is pointless?
