I love this comment so much. You have so succinctly nailed exactly my issue with influencers. They exploit people for a dollar, including their own family. No one with any amount of intelligence thinks that’s a “perfect life” Leigh, I wouldn’t want one trashy designer, semi sponsored part of it.

I watch all her travel stories with jealousy and think, why can’t I be outrageously rich and fabulous? She makes everywhere look so good. Leigh I’m like…oh I always thought that looked like it would be incredible, but it seems pretty average.
Yes! And maybe I can’t afford to go to the Maldives but at least when I go overseas with my family I don’t have to spend half my holiday filming content and tagging every post with #semi gifted. I can actually relax and enjoy my holiday and spend time with my family. I fully expect her to return from this holiday and complain that it wasn’t relaxing because she had to work through most of it and she was so worried about her mum. Surely they chose when to launch their business, why have an overseas holiday booked for 3 days afterwards???
