Did he actually use the word 'pogrom' about Lucy Connolly ?

He's an absolutely disgusting piece of tit
O'Brien is equally as divisive and inflammatory as the people he claims to despise. Why keep saying the word Pogrom over and over other than to cause division and incite a reaction. Farage's 'pure cold rage' comment can be regarded as inciteful but so can O'Brien's. 🤬🤬

It's another attempt by revolting anti semites to appropriate the indescribable crimes perpetrated against Jewish people over the centuries and pretend there's some equivocation to what's happening today thus playing down the genuine attempts to eliminate the Jews as a people

A few thugs trying to set fire to a wheelie bin is not a pogrom

The cretins on the Gaza flotilla were not held in 'concentration camps' as they asserted

Finally, there is no genocide in Gaza. It's a horrible war that Hamas started and Israel is conducting. The media get spoonfed Hamas propaganda of the results of a military conduct, but innocent people sadly get killed in every war and the ratio of civilians to combatants is very low

Jimbo will have been hitting the Grey Goose when he read this.

Bloomberg: A decade after the Brexit vote, the finance industry at the heart of London is doing... well, fine actually. When Britain opted to quit the European Union, there were fears that the City would lose its premier role in global banking. In fact, it is hard to identify any clear losses for the sector caused directly by tearing up the agreements that helped ensure London was the continent’s financial hub.

For those unaware Bloomberg was very anti-Brexit so this is quite a reverse ferret for them.

The good news for Jimbo is the reading this will mean he wont need a coffee enema this weekend.

The bad news is that those he called "thickos" "idiots" "bovine" and "racists" were right.

Really enjoyed the two part Brexit series on the Brexit referendum on BBC. Bound to produce some performative nonsense from JOB, assuming the grey goose wasn't in control

I admit that I voted in favour of Brexit but really regret it now. I appreciate that you are all right wing and have no option other than to back it though.

I can't see any improvement in everyday life from being out of the EU. Maybe I am too stupid to understand?

What dross these politicians spout..So heartening to see that truly decent, brave people still exist after saving the victim from certain death after that hideous savage attack in Belfast.

I voted Remain but was very 50/50 at the time and I think quite a few people were the same. I'm not someone who goes around calling people who voted leave idiots or racists though. A lot of friends and family voted leave.

However, I really don't see any benefits at all to Brexit either.

I agree about the insults which are puerile and ignorant and play into the desire to divide and challenge democracy which is the aim of course.
However Brexit has been extremely unpopular now that the reality of it has caused so many issues.
As for the EES...Just what the tourism industry needs...

Voted yes and would vote yes every time

No problem with the EEC as it was, the fact they kept bringing in treaties taking us into an ever closer political union without asking the people of the UK whether we consented or not

Call me a little Englander but I'd just rather have the government we vote in here decide our laws. EU laws should never have had primacy over UK laws

I prefer to be respectful and listen to other viewpoints other than condemning them rudely

I'm afraid I will never be convinced by the pro-Brexit argument. So many people I know have really suffered personally but I get that this won't a popular view on here. People are entitled to have their own opinions and have them respected of course..

I totally agree with you.

One of the reasons I dislike O'Brien is the way he talks about people who voted Brexit.

That is true but he does have some really, sweeping generalisations when it comes to Brexit voters.
I can never quite make Jobby out; on the one hand there’s his faux modesty and oily affectation of humility, and on the other his dedication to mentioning his public-school education and university several times an hour to make himself seem better than the listeners. As an adopted person I wonder if he knows who his natural parents were or whether his ducked-up personality is bravado because he suspects he’s a pleb chav and can’t face it. It would be better if he wasn’t so average intellectually as well because then he might stop leaping with glee when he gets a caller he can rip to shreds.
