Never created a thread before but wanted to make one for Laura Blair aka London Fashion Girl.

She was a dancer and was on the Bachelor with Gavin Henson many moons ago and the Bachelor Winter Games before she became a YouTuber/ influencer.

What are your thoughts on her?

I loved her content pre and during covid, the good chats and different clothes now it’s all overpriced trenches and ott villain lady outfits.
I liked her fashion and it was wearable, now it’s magazine and too repetitive

I think she’s a bit of a wannabe. Those videos of her walking through Mayfair are getting repetitive. And she’s only a short a - I also get the feeling she is skint, no decent handbags. Her apartment gives me POVO vibes

the outfits are all the same and styled with the same silhouette each time,wish she had some variety.
the instagrams of walking down the street vampire style is getting old. She looks ridiculous and the people in the background are thinking overdressed wannabe.

If she actually makes it to get a mortgage for a flat (anywhere) that would mean that cursed temporary flat situation made sense for her.

There are so many influencers splurging on Chanel bags and temporary luxury flats instead of saving a coin for actual property, is sad, Laura at least seems to be taking a few reasonable steps for her age (mid 30s)

The pony tail clip in is to go with her awkward pony walk with the ridiculously long strides. I don't know how she doesn't fall over - she's practically doing the splits.

I'd love to see the filming IRL - I feel like it'd be very awkward viewing.

I just want to know what's happened between her and Georg White. In each others pockets all the time, staying over, living together whenever one of them was temporarily homeless - and Georg also visited Laura when she moved to France ........then nothing, nada
I vaguely remember Laura talking recently about being used by a friend and Georg mentioned something about realising who your friends are.
In the meantime Georg is living her best life like Queen Bee with everyone and particularly Lindy wanting to be her best friend.
Georg also seems to have some "darkness" that is alluded to every now and then, as though we know what she's on about. I'm guessing it's a bereavement, but every time she mentions it I'm asking the TV - what?

I think same as you, like, it is obvious they are both making passive-agressive comments about each other on their Youtubes which I do find low-key hilarious. Georg looks healthy and like her career is doing well, tho is quite obvious she hangs-out with some wannabe instagramers, trust fund babes and gals that I am 98% sure are escorts.

Moving in, Georg mentioned she does not come from a well-off family, somehow she was very close to her grandpa which passed away. Then, it does seem like one of her BFF passed away from something shocking like an accident or suicide...

I can't remember what drew me to watching Georg's vlogs maybe seeing her on Laura's channel. Since then I seem to have been sucked in to watching Georg's vlogs more than Laura's if I'm honest. I get the impression that Georg's friends seem to really love her and think she is really kind. Cynical me wondered if that was because they could use her accommodation whilst in London. I'm wondering if she is the "mother" of the friend group.

I must say though, watching these events put on for these "content creators" really opens your eyes to the amount of money spent by companies on these influencers that we're all paying for in the increased cost of the goods we buy from these companies.

Georg seems to look good in virtually everything - I'll never forget the black lace jumpsuit she wore. She looked stunning but I've never seen her wear it since.
I felt sorry for the older women in the cowboy boots in her latest vlog. Georg looked tiny next to her. I thought it must be the camera angle, but no, the outfit didn't do her body any favours. The kind of look where I would have begged my friend to remove me from the vlog.

Out of the top of my head, I recall this very poshy gal on those old Georg vlogs that has a countryside home + had a quick "business" attempt and failed, it was one of those rent-and-return clothes services. It came out as the type of girl trying to play CEO with daddy's card because she was head to toe luxury posh. I can smell those trust fund characters miles away.

The other type of character, are the Instagram models part of the circuit that goes to Coachella, Soho House and had barely any real modelling jobs but travel all the time. The IRL girls I know that do so, they all have sex work as a side hustle lol it is insane actually. I do suspect Laura (going back to her) is NOT part of this vibe, like, not at all.

Laura decided to freeze her egs and she's waiting for Prince Charming to save her kind of thing, it comes off as a quite conservative person for relationships (which I stand) so besides whatever may have happened between she and Georg, it was a matter of time their backgrounds would clash because they literally hang out with veeery different groups.

I remember Laura talking about a narcissistic boyfriend in her early vlogs - he might have appeared in them at the tail end of the relationship. He really seemed to put her off men for a while.
I thought Laura seemed really brave during the lockdowns alone in London, and then when allowed to visit family sitting at the end of the garden as she was terrified of passing on the virus and killing them.
It was also fascinating to hear her talk about her treatment at The Royal Ballet School in a more recent vlog.
She comes across as a grafter who never quite seems to get where she wants to be, whilst people like Lydia Millen seem to cruise ahead of her. Is Lydia the witch people say she is?
