It seems like jojo is being seen as the new superstar disney Influencer. I can see why, he is pretty clean cut and has that annoying disney channel presenter attitude/style.

As a former CM he knows how to act the part. I can see Disney hiring him back in some sort of social media role. But he definitely needs to cut ties with that grifter Kyle.

I haven’t watched his videos since the cruise, but after reading here About the Shades of Green one it piqued my interest since I’ve never seen the resort before. At least he tried something other than ROPE DROP, but was equally annoying. During the room tour he said ““Very, very, VERY much so, a lot of space here”. He truly has no clue about the English language. Which is laughable since he was the one giving Jojo grammar lessons on the cruise during CocoCay day.

There's a lot of interesting history behind that resort, including that it opened as the Golf Resort in the early 70s so it would have the "lot of space" rooms like the Polynesian and contemporary. Some of these vloggers (not all) need to hit up google.

Kyle has come up a lot recently in other threads, he probably deserves his own....so is Kyle gay, or just baiting? Does he actually enjoy Disney, or trying to make an easy dollar? Finally, why does he insist on filming kids sections of water parks when he doesn’t even have a public boyfriend or girlfriend?

I actually really liked his last Disneyland vlog. Like, he seemed a little lonely with JoJo gone and Patrick and Frances not around, but it looked like he found a way to have fun anyway.

Whatever Kyle is like privately, he is capable of putting out enjoyable videos where he's likeable.

They we’re really expensive guys. Really expensive. Not cheap, if you missed him mentioning it. Also, cheap sunglasses aren’t any good per his viewers? Pretty sure they’re better than spending four years in the sun without any eye protection.

Is he passively begging for money or just trying too hard to seem relatable?

And don’t get me started on the “the brick is the size of my hand, which is 8 inches” comment….

He said in his last video that he kept refreshing (MDE?) until he was able to score a reservation. He also said that he was planning on being there all day, and possibly bringing his laptop so he could upload multiple videos. Yes, really.

Don't enjoy the energy of the big day, just do it for the views.

Does anyone else think that Kyle suffers from disordered eating? In almost every video he goes out of his way to point out “how many calories” something has or “how naughty” it is to eat (*gag*) while also droning on about making sure he gets a workout in, only climbs the stairs etc. I would have bet money that he was heavy as a kid but in seeing some old videos that doesn’t appear to be the case. Whatever the reason, somethin’ ain’t right upstairs

No completely disagree. Many people into fitness would be the same, I track calories on my fitness pal and try go climb stairs etc. If I was on holiday I probably wouldn't but this isn't a holiday its his daily life. Its like going to work and only eating at canteen or pub every day. Also considering the obesity epidemic we are in its refreshing to see someone point out how unhealthy this lifestyle is. Disney vloggers on the whole are not the healthiest looking people. One meal or even snack can be almost your entire day's worth of calories, never mind fats and carbs etc.

He should have just done his trip as planned. Going home a day early doesn't do much.

She was visiting Philadelphia when he was in Anaheim.

There is a distinct difference between Kyle in JoJo’s vlogs and Kyle on his own. Those two just don’t bring out the best in each other. They always seem annoyed to share the spotlight maybe? Kyle is at his best with his fam around for sure. I can’t muster sympathy for him not getting the views he wanted on his CA vlogs…then lamenting how he probably can’t go out west more than once or twice a year anymore.
I feel like his content was on an upswing for a bit, but this past week hasn’t been enjoyable to watch.

The difference in JoJo’s demeanor is strikingly different between how he acts in his own videos versus how he appears in Kyle’s. It’s like two different people. In JoJo’s videos, Kyle appears to be trying to hide that he’s annoyed when JoJo puts the camera on him, except when he’s really happy and then he’s not annoyed.

Idk just get the feeling he sees it’s not working and hasn’t been for a while, it’s hard when other people in your field and doing far better than you, and you can multiply it by 10 when the guy you stay with is doing 10 times better. And then with his Mel thing people are going after him in comments on social media and YouTube and he deletes them. Feel like he might of had enough… doesn’t seem like his temperament is too strong. I’m expecting a video soon saying he’s taking a break from vlogging to focus on some self care blah blah

I didn’t realize JoJo said he’s not vlogging anymore…i hope whatever is happening in his personal life resolves.
Also, my phone tried to autocorrect “vlogging” to “clogging.” I mean. That could be a new career path I suppose…

PLEASE tell me someone else cringed on that video when Kyle went to the ice cream parlor that just opens back up in MK and he gave his cherry to “a random family’s kid”. Parents of the year? He that dude over there wants to give you his cherry off his ice cream he’s been eating on. You should go take it and say thank you.

Major cringe!! That was unbelievable and crazy! Why did they say yes? He acts like he’s a celebrity. He apparently stops people if they point him out/recognize him and asks them if they want to jump around in his video.

I’m so intrigued to know what his announcement is. If it is the media event, why is he not allowed to say but Jojo is? In today’s video he said he can’t say but we’d see in the next couple vlogs. Maybe he finally got that Superdry sponsor

I think he's just drawing it out longer so viewers feel compelled to come back for the update. Especially since he mentioned he's streaming on Halloween, the big news brings back viewers checking in today and tomorrow, and then they find out he's streaming the next day with his family on Halloween and say "wow, I HAVE to superchat to that!"

I find the view count interesting too since they both have 100K. Kyle's video today has 17K and Jojo riding everything at Epcot with no Genie only got 5.7 so far.

I think Jojo's views are lower because he's so loud and annoying during park vlogs. If people are subscribing because of the shorts, that format's fine in quick 10-15 second segments. But 15 minutes of "HELLO" at the top of his lungs to every cast member he sees - that gets old after half a vlog. The Paula Abdul vlogs were especially annoying. I only watch now if he has a guest that's fun or if he's visiting someplace not Disney related on a rare occasion.

I think his cruise videos were more tolerable because he was probably hungover and quieter when filming those.

That's the blood and bones of this forum, being excessively critical but having fun with it! If there's anything you enjoy about a featured vlogger here, don't take it too personally when other's can't stand them. Kyle especially has burned some big bridges, which is why I've been happy to see him return to a more joyful personal approach to vlogging these past few weeks

Ok guys, I haven’t posted in awhile, been sick and getting through some things. But been reading through all the posts and comments. I’m seeing way to much love here. Lol!

also, PLEASE stop saying Kyle did a good job on the genie videos. He does NOT research thoroughly, he miss-pronounces stuff ALL the time. As someone who works for a certain place that they make vlogs about all the time, he’s clueless! Does he know Disney, yes, but when it comes to his predictions and “glitches” everything is completely wrong.

sorry I had to rant, all he’s concerned about is getting free stuff and riding on Disney’s coat tails. Is he good at THAT, yes, but the majority of what comes out of his mouth is crap.

I'm guilty of this the past few weeks, but a big part of it is that his energy is so much different when his family's around. So many other vlogs these days are boring news updates or bitching about genie plus without even using it - with his family there he got to show more fun little moments in one week than the Trackers and POS Dev have in the past three years, combined. Although that's not really a high bar to jump over.

I think what's also working in his favor is that a lot of people aren't happy with some of the cost-driven updates from Disney - in this sense they might prefer vloggers who aren't well-rehearsed over ones who do hours of research because that's more genuine than the info that Disney's current executives are going to give you. Look at the wait time disclosures - Disney's words are "Don't make purchases based on our wait times" while Kyle and a few other vloggers are timing the wait times to provide some actual estimates.

That being said, I feel like anyone who wants to watch legitimately informational content for planning their next trip aren't going to seek out Kyle's vlogs. And the Merriest Christmas Party or whatever its called vlog is already a step back, so much ass-kissing for an overpriced event.

He's clearly trying to milk holiday excitement for engagement and Mickey's good graces, but it's going to get very old in less than a week. It wouldn't take a lot of work to be more creative but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have the awareness to realize it.

I do like Kyle and watch his videos every day... I will admit I do think he is easy on the eye but then found out he is 5'7 which is shorter than me and I can't forget that

I went to Disney at the end of April and I saw him in Animal Kingdom. I surprised at how petite he is. (I'm 5'5" ) I will say he's more attractive in person. I stared longer than I should have.
