The entire video is him whining about how overwhelmed and hard it is to put up Halloween decorations and how his mom & dad aren't there to help him. This is a nearly 32 year old man.

Does a sociopath care about a sick parent?
Whether a person with antisocial personality disorder (ASPD), commonly referred to as a sociopath, appears to care about a sick parent depends on the individual's motivation, which is often self-serving
. Sociopaths lack true empathy and emotional attachment, so their actions are not driven by genuine concern for the parent's well-being but rather by practical or self-interested factors.
How a sociopath may "care" for a sick parent:
- Manipulation and personal gain. A sociopath may only provide care if it benefits them directly, such as by receiving money or a place to live. They may also use the situation to appear kind and selfless to others.
- A sense of obligation. Some sociopaths describe feeling a sense of obligation to family members, rather than a genuine emotional connection. They might assist out of a learned "skill set" of what they are expected to do.
- Maintaining a public image. A sociopath's actions are often focused on how they are perceived by others. They may mimic the behavior of a caring person to maintain a good reputation and avoid suspicion.
- To avoid social consequences. The individual may help to avoid negative consequences like social condemnation or conflict with other family members.
- Emotional detachment. When a parent is diagnosed with a terminal illness, a sociopath may not experience a strong emotional reaction. Instead, they may feign concern and go through the motions of mourning
