Agreed. And the big surgery would not be attempted if she were stage 4 as in that case they thought that it would not make a difference anyway. If I'm not mistaken. And as they believed the liver lesions were cancer (making it metastatic cancer, stage 4) they were against the surgery. But then one doctor was willing to do the surgery which revealed no cancer at all. Anywhere. I think they expected to see cancer in another organ apart from the liver. And this is what still seems unclear to me. I think the 2nd tumour was meant to be in the uterus (The first one was in the ovary)? Why do I remember them suspecting endometrial cancer? Ovarian and endometrial.

I also don't remember why they could not check the liver but there definitely was an explanation.
Yeah, I mean I guess since she said she was NED, then that means they looked at her liver and didn't see anything after all. Especially since her doctors were specifically concerned with that organ, I don't think they would overlook it. I guess I just still expected her to flat out say "turns out there was no cancer in my liver" but maybe she assumes that it should go without saying.

I think they decided they were keratin granulomas in the liver.

Definitely towards the end of this one and maybe in one before... around the 27 min mark.
That still leaves it up in the air for me, because they posted this video after that one, and they still had concerns over the liver. Also from the way she says "But then why do I still have these keratin granulomas in my liver?" it sounds like the doctors actually think those are a symptom of the cancer having metastasized there.

Watching this and am remembering that people say Jessica is fragile and she may well be but she also seems mature and strong.
I think she seems more mature than Brian. In reading thru some of these posts with the details of her cancer and suspected spread etc. she has been thru a very rough year. She will be under surveillance of the rest of her life. I sure hope it does not come back.

She also talks about the liver and keratin in that video following the big surgery.

And she also had to deal with the new hormonal situation brought on by the surgery. No wonder she fell apart. I appreciate the honesty she brought into her videos. And you can tell she is genuine.

She certainly seemed a thousand times stronger than Jenny seemed during the cancer journey. I still can't get over Jenny always wanting Kyle to "pet" her.

Jessica's mental health struggles were always depression and anxiety before she got the cancer diagnosis.

Why won't the baby know her 'actual' mother? Jessica is currently NED and is the biological mother, her cousin is the gestational carrier.
True, I misspoke. The cousin is 500 miles away. I guess I just hate this thing of surrogate babies, they're treated like a new puppy- exciting etc! But even a puppy stays with its mum until it's weaned...

Oh, and I was having a joking "Meghan Markle" moment with "are the dogs ok". Stupid of me, been on another thread too long! I don't really think anything is wrong with them. Though it's possible they'd don't get walked much?

We had some neighbours where the husband was dying, and they got a kitten from the SPCA to be company for the wife when the chap died. Now that seems a better idea to me than grifting a baby from someone.

Call me old-fashioned, possums.

They totally WILL film that baby.

not a question of "will" they film the baby but rather how much? So common on YT creators have one focus and then have a child....child then becomes the focus. That is where I tune out. I detest seeing cameras put in the face of infants and young children.

Not only it's wrong but also boring. Not interested in watching kids. Kids are only interesting to their parents.

One thing I found interesting in the "Live" is the absence of "super chats" where you can ask a question and make a donation. I have watched their lives before and they took in significant donations...some of which YT takes but a nice profitable hour. I saw the "super chat" was enabled but don't recall any coming in. I think the motivation for a "live" is getting those chats rolling in. Maybe I am all off on that but what comes to my mind when I see a creator doing lives.

Agree 100%. As some of those viewers were talking about "on line" shower I thought to my self how many family and friends showers I have gone to and I certainly would have to pass on one for a stranger online!!!!
