Never Really Over is the best song she’s released in 10 years. I’ve always been a fan, but do sadly think she’s past her ‘prime’. American Idol is a good little earner for her though. Must admit I haven’t watched any of it, so can’t comment on whether she’s a good judge!

I think he's married the doormat wife that he needs to do all the dirty work while he develops his "guru" career which seems to be his latest incarnation, lets face it his comedy and film career seem to be over.As the sober person maybe he shouldn’t have married her if she was a party girl? I admit my own bias against Russell Brand as he was very rude about her in interviews after the divorce, which I found utterly classless. He also completely lost me when he went full wannabe guru and stated he can’t look after babies because he’s a higher level being and his wife is better suited to such chores. Can somebody lend me more eyes to rollsorry going OT!
She definitely doesn’t come across as the sharpest tool in the shed, but I appreciated she was trying to do something different with Witness. Can’t win them all I guess but at least she’s trying to evolve unlike some other big names that rinse and repeat the same formula.
I thought she looked lovely with short hair as her facial features are very pretty. The backlash was a little crazy.

Old news but was it true that her and Russell Brand that time was just a showmance to boost her popularity in the UK and his in the USA? Apparently she has a bigger fan base in Europe and Asia and they don’t really care about her in the States!

Still on the fence about the quality of singing however she does know how to release bops.
He was not faithful to Katy, I have mutual friends with him who had been out for meals with Russell while he was married and he was all over other women apprently. It never would of ended well no matter which way it ended.I watched "Part of Me in 3D" in 2D. Still not sure who's side I'm on, if any.
Did he treat her like crap or did she affect his recovery with her partying? Then all the stories of her being high when she lopped off her hair, much to the annoyance of the record company. It's depressing that short hair was career suicide.
The witness live stream she came across as a bit thick, not pixie lott or Avril Lavigne levels of dim but not far off. Sorry I'm not trying to turn this into a trash thread, still love the song

Heard it on the radio this morning, and i wasn’t sure at first, but it grows as the song goes on, and the chorus is proper catchy. It does feel like Katy Perry is getting back to her Teenage Dream pop superstar best!

To be fair I like daisies and never really over. Idk if she has made anything since then lol. Daisies does make me roll my eyes when I really think about it though. Celebs always claim they worked hard and came from nothing. Then you find out they knew someone and/or were at least middle class.

Why else would she wear such a hideous, 80’s inspired, mother of the bride outfit. There’s a photo of her in a pink dress from the Carnival Row premiere and she looks pregnant in that too. Not just her stomach but her upper arms and face look a little bigger too (not that she doesn’t still look amazing, whatever her shape).

Supposedly the rumour used to be that he had quite traditional marriage expectations and wanted/expected her to settle down and start a family, but she wasn't ready and didn't want to put her career on hold to have kids just then (considering she was breaking records and immensely popular when they were together).
But no idea how valid that is

One reason could be that she is known to do quite a lot of coke and, if you believe him, he's been sober for a long time and maybe that was an issue? Also I doubt he was faithful.
She said she’s due in the summer so people were guessing 5-6 monthsShe did an Instagram live after the video dropped and you could see the bump was fairly pronounced. Not sure if she mentioned how far along she was though.
But ah, I'm buzzing for her
