Absolutely. She said people have asked if she’s sO bUsY why not just stop the holidays, or the “travel“ as she describes it. And her reply is that she really loves travel but wants “slow travel”. In other words, travel you don’t have to cut short to get back to a needy attention seeking business for.
What the duck is Meany Deany’s role in the new Katnipp I wonder? If he’s not operating that Roland printer or staring silently at a computer screen, what’s he contributing? Very cocky comment on her vlog from him about people continuing to support her. Don’t count on it mate, you’re adding duck all to the proceedings apart from being a miserable twit so look at yourself, not others.

So she thinks she can write children’s books. She needs to go back to school to learn basic spelling and grammar especially as she’s planning to self publish. No agent would take her on.

One thing is for sure, she’s guaranteed to sell out all of her stock dimbo victims fans who think they’ll never see a cartoon bee again. As if. Now we know why that bleeping Bonbun party bag thing was being so heavily pushed.
I just get very cynical vibes with everything about her.

Just watched some of it and this is exactly how it comes across. Moan moan moan about how hard it is having to come back from her 12th holiday of the year and make a decision.
She just wants to sit in a cottage drawing, don’t we all?
Beatrix Potter’s estate doesnt need to make stickers because she is actually talented, iconic and original. Other companies want a piece of that cake.
Let’s be honest, her customers were ALWAYS buying for the product over the art itself. What I mean by this is, if someone needed kawaii style stickers, they might go to Katnipp. No one is going to Katnipp to look at Bumblebutt’s latest release because it’s just a cartoon bee.

I’m sorry but she comes across as spoilt, arrogant and out of touch. Would love to see her work a creative 9-5 role and cry that it’s not aligned with what’s in her heart.

She is hoping some big chain shop will want to license her products, like rainylune has her items in Daiso and I think Box Lunch or Barnes & Noble. But her frog brand is way more iconic online than Bumblebutt or Gingie pubes.

She’s definitely modelling herself on rainylune- she follows her from what I can see. And has a bigger following so thinks she’s probably entitled to be licensed.

I wonder how many of Catherine’s followers are down to her characters, though? Not many, I bet.

She's doing it all backwards. Beatrix Potter wrote incredible stories and the popularity of the characters came from their stories. She keeps banging on about "The world of Katnipp" , but that doesn't exist. Cart before the horse. Beatrix Potter's stories have heart and are timeless. She was a talented author who happened to also be a great artist. Whatever people think about Catherine's art, she is not an author and not a storyteller. I don't think she understands how competitive the children's book world is now. It's expensive and even established authors often don't make enough to have it be their full time job.

A lot of the comments on that vlog seem to be from other creators/artists telling her how great and brave she is / you got this, girl / you’ve made the right decision etc. The same people were probably saying similar things every time she expanded the studios, bought another printer, had another amazingly successful launch. They’re just arselickers who think the universe gives them points for being supportive to strangers who wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire.
