I’ve been following Katie for years and am still subbed, but after watching her weekly today I’ve just got to rant. She went to five different charity stores, a bakery, a coffee shop, and a restaurant in just one day? You would never know watching her vlog that COVID is even a thing, it seems crazy to me.

People have to live their lives though, and at some point we've got to return to some form of normalicy - especially people who aren't vulnerable. It's not like she's elderly or has health conditions that make it more dangerous for her (unless I've missed something?)

And even though I understand the sentimentality of thrifting rather than buying new, she said in her charity store video that she purposefully bought something from every place to show us - isn’t that just continuing to be wasteful?

Not really. There's a shit ton of clothing that goes to waste. Someone buying a few items that they don't need only to redonate them later on isn't that big of a deal. She's giving money to a charity and buying otherwise wasted clothing. THere's not much harm in thrifting clothes in this way and if it encourages people to shop second-hand then I think it's a good thing. But she won't stop working with problematic brands so ultimately Im not sure how much shes actually going to change her viewers shopping habits......

Well, she sort of did. From my experience with several dog charities they wouldn’t let you adopt unless you both had a dog before. She said in the video that she has never had a cat, so that could be the reason.
Another thing one dog charity was against was living in a rented property, so that could be another reason. She doesn’t have to disclose everything. Also, personally after adopting a cat myself I would think twice about adopting again.

To add to this a LOT of charities will not let you adopt a cat or dog if you live in a flat. But she’s not actually said specifically why they didn’t

I can’t believe she said yeah we watched ep 1 of Pose and didn’t elaborate.

Pose is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING start to end and would urge everyone to watch it, it is the best show I’ve watched this year!!

The music, the outfits, the characters, the storylines...I adore it!

And also yuckkk at the caterpillar content, why why why would we want to see that?

G is not a good influence food wise, so many processed foods, soooo much meat and chocolate and all the 6'4 man sizes portions. Not healthy.

Yes, a while ago she made a point of eating manly portions (or some words to this effect) and someone on the old forum (GG) commented something along the lines of "no-one makes her eat the same amount of food as G does"
(Is he really 6'4? WOW. I am 5'2 and my partner is 6'3 and our height difference is crazy but Katie is of course below 5 which is tiny!)
You can tell she eats more than she used to and she doesn't feel too comfortable with the newly gained weight, despite posting pictures with belly rolls and such.
