Sorry, I meant if I was a pap who lived locally, not just as a random person. She loves the paps outside, the more she’s in the paper the better for her. She needs real help, being willing to do anything to be in the paper rather than risk not being in the paper at all is not normal and so many ‘celebs’ are the same way. I know publicity keeps the jobs and money rolling in but some of the things people are willing in the public eye for these days is honestly worrying.

does anyone else think it’s really weird that 35,000 people are following this 13 year old girl? It’s not like she’s a Disney star or a singer or actress, she’s just a little girl with Z list parents, what’s the appeal in following her?

I do find it weird... I remember a few years ago Pete was doing a concert or some event and the kids were in the audience and the fans were asking for their autographs

I live nearby and I’ve never seen a pap lurking outside her house, which leads me to think she has them on speed dial for when she needs to get in the sidebar of Shame.
It wouldn’t surprise me, ‘celebs’ must contact them because they always have pictures of the most mundane crap like X brings home flowers for Y. X did some gardening.
They all contact the paps you will see Backgrid or Splash in the bottom left hand corner of the photos.
Not sure who makes any money out of this for example who would pay to see Bianca Gasgoine walking down the road.
Someone has to pay Backgrid to get the local photographer out to do the shots and it won’t be the DM so my money is on the celeb. Sometimes if they are wearing an outfit and it is featured further down the article then that fashion house will pay for it.

A lot of these photographers are the guys who have the shop on the high street doing those cheesy posed photo shoots of families. Usually in their 50s, often worked between 20 and 40 for the local paper, got made redundant when local papers started using stock photos for articles to save money and are now scratching a living. Their shops can go days without seeing a customer, so a phone call saying go to this location and take these photos, there’s £50 in it for you seems a standard process
