Are the local feeding team midwives? Just curious as to what qualis you’d need to be doling out freelance advice. I AM MIDWIFE

Just caught up, I’m so glad Truff shared that that bloody noubalm can cure ptsd in less than a week, I’m making my way down there now! Isn’t it funny I mentioned my panic attack from my ptsd on Monday, and she’s now mentioned ptsd again, but she doesn’t read here
Brill recap, and the bat video had me giggling again, as well as the gorilla truff

I’m not sure any GP would tell you to stop breast feeding.
Would they not say you can continue but you need to cut dairy from your diet.
Probably can’t live without her 2500 calorie starbucks so she’s patched that idea straight away.
They absolutely would not tell you to stop breastfeeding! I’ve actually been at the doctors this morning as I’m 99% sure that baby Pickle has CMPA. The doctor tried to convince me that 1. BF babies can’t have CMPA from breast milk (they 100% can) and 2. Even if he does have CMPA the benefits of breast milk outweigh the absolute hell we’ve been through the past few weeks. She also made me feel that if I stopped breastfeeding, if he was to be sick or have a serious illness in the future, it would be my fault for not continuing to breastfeed. She tried to say it’s ’just’ colic and blamed the fact I’m a first time mum for worrying. I’m going to try dairy and soy free as I feel so guilty now after today and the guilt trip the doctor has put me on.

The BF brigade are a funny bunch - my pal fed her daughter and it was hell, she was literally bleeding from the nipples, in agony etc but the BF specialist just gave her nipple guards and told her to keep going, so I highly doubt a GP would tell you to stop cos your baby had a little red rash!

It makes no difference if she was told to give up breastfeeding or not, because she wasn’t anyway. More chance that Max was breastfeeding that baby.

I don’t care how a baby is fed (whether breast or formula or both), as long as it’s fed. So if she gave up breastfeeding for whatever reason (if she even was doing it in the first place), then that’s fine as she is perfectly entitled to do that.

What I don’t agree with is the lying about it - I highly doubt a GP told her to stop breastfeeding. In fact I doubt she even was at all and she just said that as an out. She is the first one to slap her gut and go on about her tigger strips and mom guilt, so why is she perpetuating the whole breastfeeding thing? Just say you tried it and it wasn’t for you so you moved onto formula

When I had support for breastfeeding my bespoke - actual tongue tie, actual food allergy, actual silent reflux - they were a department of the health visitors so mostly midwives. If she went to an NHS one she’d get a fucking bollocking. She’s getting a freebie for #content so they’ll tell the bison what she wants to hear. Fucking narc

So it looks like she’s wearing that trackie for bed. She definitely doesn’t shower daily. Read the wiki.

Is she implying that using the formula the doctor gave her yesterday afternoon and the chat with the feeding “expert” has miraculously worked already and Berry is back to normal?!?!

Ah just caught up on her stories from yesterday...

That poor baby is being ragged around and held in a really weird way. Her little legs all scrunched up. Also poor Olive getting a head injury by her mothers big masculine swinging jaw.

The baby is just being a baby, they don't need answers, sometimes they get little rashes, sometimes they cry. 2nd kids are usually an eye opener.

Finally, the name sounds even more ridiculous when the mother says it out loud. Beryy, fucking berry.

Also, no doctor would tell her to stop BF. Bollocks, they'd refer her to the Bambis team, or equivalent, but she wasn't feeding her in the first place. No feeding mum would wear them sausage skin zip tops in a million years.
