See I listened to it and thought that Violet was being a bit dramatic or OTT to embarrass her mum and that Katherine wasn’t actually being rude. If I asked for no milk and the man at the coffee shop put milk in my drink I’d be annoyed too.
Violet has a unique accent. Some of her letters almost veer into West Country but the rest is southern England. I did think it was because she was surrounded by Canadians but I know people who’s parents are Irish and another with Indian ones and they don’t have a hint of their parents accents?


Has it ever come out who Violet’s dad is? Katherine said in a podcast he was a bit older than her. I did find it interesting that Violet referred to Bobby as Dad so I thought that maybe her bio Dad wasn’t in the picture but then a few weeks later Katherine said he was going to keep one of their dogs.

Alex Edelman I reckon....she looks like him.

Strange that they apparently have a good relationship but he isn't allowed to mention her at all.

I agree they do look similar but on her podcast she said that her first baby daddy is about 5-8 years older than her (can’t remember exactly the age but he’s older and Alex is younger than Katherine).

She’s 6ish years older than Alex so maybe she reversed the ages so if violet looked like him (which she does) it wouldn’t be as obvious? Alex follows Bobby on Instagram, which I know doesn’t mean anything but it could be that they’re all on good terms?

I've wondered this too. I don't listen to her podcast much, but has she ever mentioned what her husband does? I know she must be fairly well off from touring and TV work, but to sustain her lifestyle must take some £££

He’s a stay at home husband I’m sure, I thought she said something along those lines one day. Mmm I imagine she made a pretty penny out of the Duchess? Other than that I have no clue how much comedians make

He's a SAHD, why would she pay him? That would be weird . When you're married it's mi casa su casa isn't it.
She must make loads of money from all her telly appearances and touring.

I went to see her last week, she mentioned that she has been really busy and the podcast is delayed. Which I think is absolutely fine, but why set yourself unrealistic goals to begin with! Maybe part of a high achieving personality I'll never understand, ha.

Same with Vogue Williams coming back with the Joanne McNally podcast 3 weeks after giving birth- I really don't mind you taking more time off, I'll listen whenever it comes back!

I suspect this might be an unpopular opinion, given how many positive comments there are on this thread, but I think she’s awful! Unfunny, fake and generally comes across as an arrogant, unpleasant person.
I always change the channel if she pops up on screen. Even if it’s one of her dreadful Wowcher adverts!

Same here, absolutely cannot stand the woman and would avoid anything she is on. There was a women only episode of Cats Does Countdown in memory of the suffragettes and she presented it. If the suffragettes were still alive today, they wouldn't have arsed themselves protesting given how women on panel shows appear to have turned out - I don't know if they deliberately act thick but some of them (Roisin Conaty in particular) make me want to cut my eyes and ears off.

She just comes across as a deeply insecure and needy person desperate for attention. She's bang ordinary imo. I don't even know why I follow this thread! haha ... maybe I do dislike her more than is rational. Certainly not a person I'd like to be in the company of, that for sure. Each to their own!
