It's all a cover, I don't find her arrogant I just find her very insecure and needy. I'm only half-reading this thread but if Russell Brand touched her up she should just fucking well come out with it or not bring it up. It's so bloody irritating when people only tell half the story for shits and giggles.
I don't think she has said she was assaulted, she said she had been told and had accused him to his face but it's not for her to name him as she has been a victim, or at least that is how I read it.

Not to mention the incessant mention that Fenna is her most fav baby out of them all. And her real Dad not being around much, poor kid is gonna revolt hard. K keels saying she is great with babies but no idea what to do with V, in others words lost interest cause the innocence is gone.
I had a perfect baby like Fenna. Never cried , happily slept in her cot. So different from my first, a premmie with reflux. My perfect baby became the worst toddler ever. Honestly, none of my friends toddlers were like her. How I wasn't an alcoholic I don't know.

Especially depressing as she mentions watching his videos and agreeing/ not being opposed to the stuff he says when this is one of the most effective things he does to reel followers into before interspersing the innocuous videos with hateful views said in a matter of fact way. It’s fucking brainwashing.
Genuinely disappointed.

KR’s latest stories seem to be heavily featuring the kids, I’m wondering when she’ll stop showing them as that’s been a while now since she said on her podcast that she wouldn’t be showing their faces. Don’t get me wrong I like seeing wholesome family content as I have kids myself but I really agreed with what she was saying about protecting kids online. It’s hard to do cos your kids are a big part of your life but she’s a big star and if it was me I’d be a bit more worried about safety.

I’ve still to catch up with Joe Lycett’s show, looking forward to seeing her on it.
I have yet to see any wholesome family content on social media.

It doesn't exist imho, the very fact family vloggers or any parent /adult selling their kids for content, without the children's ability to consent is wrong on every level.

She does suffer like me from hyper-independence which is a trauma response from living in extreme poverty. I relate to her because I designed the life I wanted eg- husband, nice house, holidays, a child, good job. Unfortunately if your life is your dream and not necessarily a shared dream you can end up doing everything because you’re the only one invested in that dream.
My husband lets me organise everything like holidays, flights, insurance, social events for our daughter, food. I feel angry about it but then I realise it was all my dream and he’s just going along with it. He’s not as invested in the vision I had for our life.
It worries me but I’m stuck now so I have to make the best of it.

Anybody else find it strange to hear her talking fairly seriously (though she seemed to eventually decide against it, thankfully) about going to Turkey to save a couple of grand on liposuction? She earns literally millions and has talked about taking helicopters to gigs

I really genuinely like Katherine but the podcast is a bit of a drag lately. Bobby is... not the catch she thinks he is, and she seems highly frazzled by life. It's a shame she doesn't feel able to take a break for a few months.

I like her podcast, she’s honest about the work she has had done.

She’s vocal about kids in the limelight and iirc she shares what her daughter is comfortable with.

I get the sense that getting pregnant/being pregnant hasn’t been easy so she’s kept it quiet as long as possible, fair play to her, the public don’t own her, she’s genuinely talented (to those who like her humour) so I think fair play to her.

IMO you can’t compare KR to celeb hungry whiners like LW, she’s not coveting celebrity for celebrities sake.

Eeek anyone watching her on channel 4 tonight with her husband???
I said nothing and my husband turned to me and said there is something very odd about that guy and he’s not interested in her.
It’s actually horrible to see
Yep! We're having the same conversation here. She's saying sexual things to get a reaction, which he's not giving (it's like he finds her annoying) and then he's saying horrible things about her and Violet "shitting yourselves all last Christmas" which is a whole selfish problem in itself (as though being poorly was to upset him), but the thing we had a major problem with was that he was talking about a little girl being unwell in really embarrassing terms when she's not involved and she has to go to school and see other people who know about this. Terrible twat of a man.

Word. There's no glory in never taking a break and there's no shame in stopping to enjoy your new kiddo.

I gave birth on Monday early morning and went back to work Friday afternoon because a) he died shortly after birth and I needed to GFTO of my house and my head and b) I was 20 and working slightly over minimum wage with no family or maternity leave and couldn't afford to not work.

A good friend went back to work after two and a half weeks because she couldn't afford not to work.

A colleague came back to work after a week because her babies were born eleven weeks premature and in the NICU and she wanted to save her very limited maternity leave for when they came home.

Being able to brag about not taking a maternity leave is a reaaaaaaaaaally fucking privileged thing to do. She looooves to shit on Americans but if she had to live here for a month she'd change her fucking tune real quick.

Also, Violet saying she looks like the Statue of Liberty in drag is the best thing I've heard in a long time.
Im so sorry for your loss when you were 20. I can’t even comprehend the pain you’ve been through. I hope life has been kinder to you since x

I like how honest she is about thinking about surgery. She places a lot of emphasis on being attractive and admits it. I think it’s refreshing to hear someone be honest about it. It’s not for me and I think it’s a terrible idea but I’m fairness she shared her thought process which seemed to end with her not wanting to take the risk and there would be a lot of people in her shoes considering cut price surgery.

As for BK…. Again I do think she’s being honest. I don’t love the sound of him but no relationship is perfect and I feel like she is again just being honest. There are many red flags for me personally but a lot of my friends’ partners wave red flags. Sometimes I genuinely think they need to leave asap but other times it’s just a typical non perfect relationship. For example, one friend’s husband doesn’t like her working since kids (also wouldn’t shag her when pregnant but that’s by the by). He doesn’t stop her but just discourages it. For me, massive red flag but she just ignores it. Out of my group of friends they always seem one of the most genuinely loving and sweet couples when out and about. Another couple show all the outward signs of being perfect. Gorgeous insta pics and declarations of love every Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, sodding birthdays etc praising each other to the hilt but on many occasions I have heard them rip each other to shreds thinking they are out of earshot. Also know they never ever shag. So my point is that he can be a bit of a lawn knob and want to try anal (every single man) and they could genuinely be happy. Sure she will have changed but you do change in a couple. I
Think they will be together long term.
I agree with this. He’s a knob but his knobbishness is clearly not a dealbreaker for Katherine. I know plenty of women with worse men tbh. I just think we held her to a higher standard because she placed herself as a single mother feminist with almost ambivalence towards men.

I really am surprised that she is one of those judgey, superior mothers subtly bashing other women. That never seemed to be her vibe.

She doesn’t even have the excuse of being a first time mum. She knows that no one gives AF about how you fed your baby once they get older
I think she’s always had this energy. She’s always banged on about perfect Violet being potty trained practically in the womb.

It's so strange to me that in one breath she's discussing how important it is to protect your children online, then in the next breath broadcasting tales of Violet's transgressions - and those of her schoolmates?!! How is that not going to cause a ton of drama for Violet?! 😕 KR did an Instagram story last night too with BK seemingly mocking Violet wearing short shorts. I just don't get how she thinks it's acceptable to use her for content, and to mock a 13 year old girl publically in the way she does - she probably sees it as just gentle ribbing and "Violet gave her permission" but even though Violet is ok with it now (in all her 13 year old wisdom...) I can't help finding it v v ill-judged for so many reasons ☹
I don't think a 13yr old can really consent to being used for content online in this way, they might think it's "cool" to be semi insta famous via your mum now but what about in a few years? And creepy Bobby on the latest podcast getting his knickers in a twist cos she was 5 mins late coming out of school, all they seem to do is speak negatively about her.

Personally I think when same sex marriage was introduced they should have converted all civil partnerships to marriages and stopped offering civil partnerships. The only people I know who get a CP have done it to be AlTeRnAtIvE
Totally agree! I know two straight couples who had civil partnerships recently and they did it to prove how deeply against the institution of marriage they are. Whilst wanting all the legal protections of marriage at the same time…

Oh my god the last eat podcast episode where Bobby tell her not to speak French and says she doesn’t know how to speak French. The man is EMBARRASSED of her!

I love KR I just think she deserves a husband who isn’t a freeloader.

I totally get that, I know my son is not neurodivergent too and people hint at it cause he goes into his shell at parties and has little speech. I almost find myself showing videos of him not acting the way they perceive to be neurodivergent. People need to mind their own business, including me suggesting it but I was not aware people were saying it to her too so I feel her pain.
People who don't know anything about these things believe that autism and ADHD are personality traits, which is so wrong. You can't tell that someone is autistic or has ADHD because they are shy or awkward. Particularly children - it's so normal for children to only be comfortable around their parents, even until their early teens!

Autism and ADHD are specific patterns in the structure of the brain, with many different symptoms, most of which can't be seen by the naked eye. I'm sick of people being like "I know this guy at work, he's a bit odd, I think he's on the spectrum." Being odd =/= a neurological condition.

I have severely inverted nipples, therefore couldn't breastfeed my children. (I could have expressed in an attempt to establish supply, but it would have been a full time job during the time I should have been bonding with my babies, and it may not even have worked). It was immensely upsetting at the time, and even now eleven years on I still feel pangs of sadness, guilt, jealousy and inadequacy when I see breastfeeding content. I suppose if I still feel this way this far down the line, I always will.
I try not to begrudge people posting breastfeeding content as we're all adults. But by the same token, I've never posted about how proud and happy I was to give birth without intervention or pain relief, because a) it's largely down to dumb luck how these things turn out and b) I would never want someone who didn't have the birth experience they wanted to see it and feel sad. It's not worth it for me.
I think it's worth noting that in previous discussions around posting etiquette, I've had quite hostile pushback when I've stated my views and my MO. My bottom line is each to their own re: what to share; but I personally try not to share anything that could potentially cause pain 🤷

On Leo DiCaprio cycling through young models, Bobby repeatedly says things like "you can't fault him" "you've gotta respect him" "it's impressive what he's able to accomplish". It's only Katherine repeatedly telling the audience that Bobby wouldn't want this, Bobby doesn't watch p*rn, Bobby respects women... Does he?

I think Bobby throughout the podcast episodes is very honest and clear about his views. Which aren't terrible, just sort of average, sometimes not great. But then Katherine tries to paint him as the most incredible man she's ever met.
He is a small town boy with small town views. I cringe when I think about the now manchildren that I was with as a teenager, couldn't pay me to go back there. I used to love their love story, now it kinda feels like people settling more than anything.
