I used to enjoy watching Kate but lockdown just showed up how limited she is.
I like the odd Poundland or home bargains video but I don’t know how anyone can enjoy watching the constant hauls that she posts. I noticed that she buys stuff without even knowing what it is, she must just throw things into her basket without looking at it. It’s horrible really how wasteful she is, I mean she buys second hand but that’s only good if the stuff is going to be used and not just sit there in her house, otherwise leave it for someone else to have,
She did introduce me to Mr Carrington(thanks Kate!) who I do enjoy watching. I like that he has some variety in what he posts and the travel vlogs he does are always really interesting to me.

It was Dainty Diaries that introduced me to Mr Carrington and I had to unfollow her not long after cause her pure Dub (Dublin) accent grated on me.
I was over on YouTube earlier and 4 faced Kate showed up in my feed with yet another Pound land haul.
I am beginning to wonder if they are running up a lot of debt. I know it has come to light that they have two rental properties, but they seem to spend soooo much money. They are all at Wembley this evening, and she says that Lee 'managed to get tickets' so presumably he has bought them this week. Weren't they going for thousands? Before Covid, they were always jetting off on exotic holidays too. 
I say this mostly for anyone who looks at Kate and thinks she seems to have it all. I wouldn't be so sure everything is as it seems.

I don't think so. They're pretty savvy. If you listen closely, a lot of the holidays and trips are paid for by her hilarious father and they only have that beautiful house because of her late Mum BUT if she has any siblings (and I'm pretty sure I heard her say she has at least a brother) then presumably they would be due a share of her Mum's house. She has a privileged life, that's for sure! She doesn't contribute anything useful to society in terms of doing any paid work and promoting mindless consumerism for sponsors/freebies is hardly something to be proud of and if anything makes her come across as a little insincere and disingenuous. She had some beautiful but expensive garden furniture gifted to her in return for promoting it on YT/Instagram, but we all know that she would never go out and spend that kind of money. It goes against everything she purports to promote, but of course she couldn't turn down the offer of some gifted furniture! That's what you're dealing with, with these influencers, I guess.
It's her shameless greed that gets me. It's always 'my friend spotted this, I said they should have it but they let me have it, but I offered it them first, honest.' Or 'I got two of these, one is a gift for my friend, but I ended up keeping both'. She cannot part with anything. It's a form of OCD, I'm sure.
I'd completely forgotten about that part of her. Yes she used to always say that when I watched her. I'm sure I've said it previously on here but my wtf moment was when she gifted Louise a notepad /menu planner that she'd picked up in the charity shop for 50p. When Louise opened the pack, there were 2 in it and Kate asked for one back
I don't know why, but that gave me second hand embarrassment on her behalf.You might be right regarding the finances. However it could be the case that if everything comes so easily to her, she has no real understanding of money / doesn't appreciate its value and will have problems down the line when the flow of 'free' cash dries up.
She certainly contributes absolutely nothing to society. Just takes, takes, takes and gives nothing back.
I don't know what to make of her finances, none of my business really I guess. Whatever her state of affairs, she buys tat by the boat load and has zero taste. She's chavvy, cheap, clueless, lazy, talentless and lacks initiative.
That's all very true. You are right, it isn't our business as to the state of her finances. I just hope her that endless spending (whether she can afford it or not) doesn't encourage anyone else to spend beyond their own means though.

I think Kate may have rubbed Louise up the wrong way during lockdown. Louise definitely has a job, and she mentioned being on furlough. Maybe her family were struggling and Kate just ploughing on with her Matalan and ASDA teacup hauls clearly oblivious to the situation around her or what anyone else may have been going through made Louise realise what a selfish person she (Kate) is. I hope so! Alternatively, it may have been a falling out over kids featuring in videos. Kate filmed Louise's kids a few times I think.
