I guess things don’t actually have any value when you get them all for free, so it doesn’t matter if your toddler smashes them to bits.
The woman who ripped out a perfectly nice kitchen she described as ‘cluttered,’ now extolling the virtues of her new doorless cupboards; showing off a frankly bewildering collection of ceramics and glassware. Her greed and conspicuous consumerism jumps out the screen.
Her life seems to be: wants nice thing, gets nice thing, shows off nice thing; and repeat, for ever. What a life. Ceramics, knitwear, skincare, cushions, sofas, paint - her cupboards must be bursting.
I know she pitches it as ‘lifestyle curation,’ but really it’s just endless greed for more stuff that does the same as the stuff she already has.

I’m not a reno influencer so maybe I don’t get it but those colours in the kitchen don’t look good together. The marble and the cupboards? Yikes.
An “easy Saturday” because the kid doesn’t turn up to the end. Has she locked her up or something. Because MY kids would be following me around while doing all that and trying to “help”.
A marble corner like that and a small child, what could possibly go wrong!
Ah but she’s not an ordinary child, with plastic toys and character t shirts - she’s a well trained, floral and gingham wearing, organic salad enjoying, wooden toy and classic book child, programmed to avoid sharp corners and protect the ceramics. #smug
I quite like the kitchen (at least compared to the rest of the house!), but I don't understand why she got rid of the dining area! Was that island really necessary when she's already got so much storage and bench space? Makes no sense to me with a small family. I live alone and my house isn't big enough for a dining table, yet I still wish I had one!
I think there is a dining area planned, under a new window, with cutesy built in bench of course. And naturally, bespoke upholstery too.

Oh yes you’re right! I missed that in the first update. Can’t say I’m a fan of the cottagecore vibe. Her taste has become a bit too grandma-like for me these days.
I agree, the cupboards are a warm tone and the worktop is very cool toned imo.
I saw her post this week and thought it was Mrs Meldrum! Took me a good few minutes to realise it was Kate. Her content is so dull, so repetitive, I wonder why she bothers any more? (I suppose it’s easy money and lots of free stuff 
)

Those tiles look terrible with her worktops, completely different tones. She’s totally lost her way with the kitchen reno, that’s the consequences of accepting a load of free stuff without stopping to consider what actually works.
