I really liked the fireplace she ripped out :(

I don’t have anything against the new one but … I do not feel like it was necessary.

The amount of stories she posted about ‘solo parenting’ for a weekend was sad, she does not realise how lucky she is that both her and her husband can just hang around at home 80% of the time with their kid, doing errands, chilling in the garden and ‘pottering about’ (Kate‘s idea of hard work). Her one weekend where she went for walks and cafe stops and had to do it all alone is a treat for most working people on a Saturday, or then the stay at home parents that have to take care of their child, or multiple children all day every day.

Honestly I’m just so bored of her entitlement, the desperation to be ‘relatable’ when she‘s living such a life of luxury.

Yeah it's weird, I don't think she should really have to answer that question but can't imagine she was being hounded about it, just ignore it.

Influencers being pleased they've managed to deceive their followers is just quite mean, it may be annoying but it's the people commenting and engaging with them (not me!) who are enabling their whole careers
I find it really annoying when influencers get a kick out of deceiving their followers. The Anna Edit does this all the time too and thinks she's so clever. In fact, she's even worse than Kate for this kind of thing. They wouldn't have their cushy lifestyles if not for their followers. Actually, Kate still might, as it seems like she's always lived a pretty financially comfortable life.

I've followed Kate for years and until the last year or so always found her pretty inoffensive. However, I now find her unbelievably smug and almost everything she says or does annoys me. Case in point, how she worded these captions to say she 'sent' Jord to do these things for her, like he's her little errand boy. Maybe try 'asking' instead of ordering him around! 😄

As to Kate saying she was ‘one and done’ - she also said many times that she had chosen to remain child free in the first place and admitted it was deliberate misdirection. We’re not falling for that again 😉

Yes. Being able to rent AND buy, while also financing a new business… and mix drinks and eat out and go to gorgy 🤮 hotels wearing fancy clothes every of weeks.

I mean it’s hard. She must be permanently frazzled with the stress of all that indulgence.

I don’t remotely begrudge any woman their success when they have been financially astute, but she has been very unlikeable for some time because of her smugness. She used to be mainly aspirational, but showed what seemed like authentic glimpses of a down to earth nice and funny person. Where did that go? I used to think yeah she’s a blogger but nobody could possibly dislike her, she’s so lovely.

Shopping, ads, freebies, luxury lifestyle. Knitwear, skincare, coffee, knitwear, skincare, coffee. She’s like an in flight magazine personified.

The woman who ripped out a perfectly nice kitchen she described as ‘cluttered,’ now extolling the virtues of her new doorless cupboards; showing off a frankly bewildering collection of ceramics and glassware. Her greed and conspicuous consumerism jumps out the screen.

Her life seems to be: wants nice thing, gets nice thing, shows off nice thing; and repeat, for ever. What a life. Ceramics, knitwear, skincare, cushions, sofas, paint - her cupboards must be bursting.

I know she pitches it as ‘lifestyle curation,’ but really it’s just endless greed for more stuff that does the same as the stuff she already has.

Worlds most tired parents?
I think worlds most tired parents are the ones with full time jobs, multiple kids, etc

It’s another blog update with nice sentences and photos, that communicates very little beyond that which we know already - moving house is disruptive and wearing. Obviously much more disruptive and wearing for Kate than anybody else ever in the history of moving house, because aesthetics and visual harmony matter more to her than mere mortals.

Zero awareness of her privilege in being able to do so, and float around wearing free clothes, eating out half the week, having regular paid holidays in luxury hotels, and ‘work’ consisting of approving the colour If some embroidery.

Somebody should start a fundraiser.

It is perfectly ok to change your mind about anything at any time.. in fact it should be applauded as it can take courage.

With Kate it’s deliberate manipulation though. She has actually laughed about decoys / throwing people off the scent about a few things. I get intrusion and speculation might become tedious however if you are going to treat your audience like that and laugh about it, then a natural consequence is that your credibility is shot 🤷‍♀️

She’s finally posted a bit of a house reveal:

There was only one house for sale in the whole of the UK that she even wanted to view?! Wow, and I thought I was fussy!

She makes me absolutely cackle- she's going to be 'choosing rest without guilt' in 2026? She does fuck all and has barely worked a day in her life

she relly does nothing of substance with her day or ‘job’ does she? ‘I like to potter, curl my hair, reorganise drawers’ wtf
Can she be so unaware of how privileged and smug she comes across when she says things like this, it always makes me so cross when she says this as if we all have time to fanny around curling our hair or pottering instead of you know actually holding down a job. But it’s ok guys because in 2024 she’s really going to take her time to decide which colour to paint their bedrooms 🙄

It’s funny, she’s just shown her ‘before’ kitchen - decent cabinets and appliances, current style even if not her taste, lots of storage, lots of work surfaces, a spacious family dining area, and light flooding in through the entire wall of doors, that she inexplicably describes as ‘dark and cluttered.’

And justified the ‘after’ kitchen cos it’s got ….lots of storage, place to sit as a family, light flooding in through entirely new doors (same aperture as the ‘dark’ doors). Sooo, just the same really, but new and identikit white/marble/herringbone/zellige? Are we done with arches now, or are they still to come?

However, my particular favourite was her justifying a whole new kitchen with marble worktops 😆😆😆😆 ‘I just went with marble cos it was one less decision to make and it’s cheaper than quartz’ 🙄 Oh how terribly sensible and thrifty Kate. It must be so hard to ‘only’ choose marble worktops for your entire unnecessary kitchen replacement. Such a trouper, making do with marble, you poor thing.
