I’m actually so deeply concerned about the post she got, like yeah MAYBE there was good intentions from that guy. But it just doesn’t sit right with me at all, and I think val thinking it’s sweet is even worse, maybe I think too badly of people’s intentions. I think a few sweet treats is one thing, but to go and get a mug custom made with a photo…. It’s just weird? I’m just glad they didn’t give him their address.

I thought it was weird AF. They are so clueless about safety and sadly appear to be very naive. That is a recipe for disaster.

Also, I’m realising that Kate should have stayed off the internet. I missed her videos and wanted her to come back but they aren’t the same, sometimes things are better left in the past.

Though with how busy she is with just bowls I reckon she couldn’t make it happen to begin with. Having something like a cameo would probably overwhelm her quite quickly as there seems to be a deadline for delivering the videos

Does anyone think it’s got something to do with the fact their family is very heavily religious and they might not believe in taking / asking for money from people which is why Kate doesn’t do anything like Cameo or make her own merch.

I’ve always thought this when it comes to her finances. She strikes me as the type to still ask her parents for a ‘treat’ if she’s good. It puzzles me how Mick & Val haven’t prepared her for adult life. Yes, her disability can be debilitating at times, but it shouldn’t prevent her from being independent. Has she ever confirmed she receives disability benefits? Her parents strike me as ultra-conservative and definitely not the type of family to receive ‘handouts’. Strange.

If she's in receipt of PIP it usually goes to the parents bank account if they're under 18, or their bank account if they're older and able to make financial decisions for themselves. But we don't know what mick and Val will have put in place for her. If she did/does get pip she'd be in receipt of both elements surely because of what she's shared about needing help dressing etc so hopefully if she doesn't actually 'spend it herself' (I can't see her buying much for herself tbh) I hope Val has put it in an account for her to have when they're no longer here
