I don’t know how to start a new thread but was wondering how everybody felt about a straightforward title for the next one? Now that her last name has been confirmed it’s probably good to include that.
Maybe just: Kate Malvenan #2 - its_not_kates_time ?

Maybe just: Kate Malvenan #2 - its_not_kates_time ?
Ill ask the mods to change the title of this one to start with Kate Malvenan and then have it tagged and start #2.

So ... just asking questions .... ;):cautious:...would someone who has studied film makeup know how to use make up to make bruises? or scars ?

Omg! I am living for your posts today! Yes. Yes they would...

Im not doubting she's sick and believes all her bull protocols work but also makes herself look sicker

Look - I’m falling on the side of she has/had cancer … that’s it is more than likely terminal and that alectinib, the targeted therapy, is keeping her alive and not her visits to H4C and all the various therapies that she has when she is home.

I think that she knows this - as she is def very on and off with following her “protocols” and I think that if she truly believed that they worked, she’d be 110% committed to following them 24/7 - and she definitely does not.

I think that she is so far down the track of promoting H4C and the other alternative therapies that she spruiks - that she can’t afford to extricate herself from it. And that she benefits heavily from the attention that she gets from her IG
- attention and adoration from her followers
- attention from the media (print, online and television)
- the gifted products and services that she receives
- initially, the dollars that she received through fundraising * and now the dollars that she receives by directing those who want to support her financially, to purchase items through her shop

I think that her promotion of H4C as a clinic that cures cancer is vile and morally reprehensible and she has blood on her hands as a result of the 100s if not 1000s of people that she has recommended to the clinic plus those who have chosen to follow her path of taking alternative, unproven therapies.

Sadly for Kate, if she has a terminal cancer as she has said she has - there is no cure and her life expectancy has been extended through conventional medicine. But ultimately, the money and time she has spent on H4C, and all of her additional therapies, won’t save her,

* I’ll have to find the post, but at one point, she says how she won’t be doing anymore fundraising as she was running fundraising dollars through her shops and “the tax man wants their share”. She said that she was going to set up a NFP and do her fundraising through it. Not surprisingly, that’s never eventuated

My theory is that she either listened to Scamanda, or read the book about Belle Gibson and recognised that their undoing was not the lying about their illness, but the financial fraud aspect - with Belle it was saying that she was going to give dollar figures and/or percentages of sales to charities (that never happened); with Amanda C Riley it was the IRS tracing electronic donations given to her to fund her (fake) cancer treatments.

Oh - and I think that the story about her ex fits nicely into her narrative that emotions cause cancer - and that her lung cancer was caused by her suppressed grief at the breakdown of her marriage.

I hate this so much, implies that sufferers of cancer have contributed to their condition by not processing their feelings, and also is a big old guilt trip to anyone who has made them sad.

Wowza. I want to know why he has no contact with his daughter tho.
I fell down the rabbit hole of reading all his Threads posts. One of them:

"Here’s a thought. Given that vasectomies are now reversible, why aren’t they actively promoted to young men to ensure they actually make a informed choice about while they get pregnant and when, would sure fix the entrapment racket them women have perfected over oh I dunno, the last 500yrs."

So he's also a flog. Wear a condom if you dont want a kid. Sure its not 100% foolproof but if a woman says she's on the pill (also not 100% foolproof) and she isnt then at least you know you are trying your hardest not to have a kid. But he obviously preferred to raw dog it so now he has a kid he takes no responsibility for. Entrapment 🙄🙄

This is Kate's original diagnosed cancer type - treatable, not curable ie ..bluntly ... it will ultimately kill her/she'll die of it ...

BUT ..... if someone where to decide to fake cancer, Metastatic ALK-Rearrangement Positive Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, like Kate had/has, is certainly one that has a long life expectancy .... just saying ..... I'm not a Doctor, after all ... and the same can be said for the T4NxM1c (Stage IVB) Adenocarcinoma that she was diagnosed with in 2023 ....

Is Metastatic ALK-Rearrangement Positive Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) Curable?

No, metastatic ALK-positive NSCLC is not considered curable, but it is highly treatable, and many patients live for years with modern targeted therapies. Unlike other stage 4 lung cancers, ALK-positive NSCLC responds exceptionally well to ALK inhibitors, significantly extending survival.

1. Why Isn’t It Considered Curable?
Metastatic (stage 4) lung cancer means that the cancer has spread beyond the lungs (e.g., to the brain, liver, bones, or lymph nodes).
  • In stage 4 cancer, even if the visible tumors shrink or disappear, microscopic cancer cells usually remain somewhere in the body, leading to eventual recurrence.
  • No current treatment eliminates all ALK-positive cancer cells permanently.
2. Can Long-Term Remission Be Achieved?
✔ Yes, some patients achieve long-term remission (No Evidence of Disease – NED), but this is not the same as a cure because the cancer can eventually return.
✔ ALK inhibitors (like alectinib, brigatinib, lorlatinib) can control the disease for many years.
✔ Some patients live 8-10+ years with treatment, but the cancer almost always develops resistance at some point.

3. How Do ALK-Positive NSCLC Patients Live Longer Than Other Stage 4 Lung Cancer Patients?
🚀 ALK inhibitors (targeted therapy) work extremely well, often shrinking tumors by 50-80% and keeping the disease stable for years.
🔬 Newer ALK inhibitors (like lorlatinib) help overcome resistance, giving patients multiple lines of treatment.
🧠 Radiation (SRS) for brain metastases + ALK inhibitors can keep the disease under control for longer.

4. What Could Lead to a Cure in the Future?
  • Next-generation ALK inhibitors that delay or prevent resistance.
  • Combination therapies (e.g., ALK inhibitors + immunotherapy or chemotherapy).
  • Early-stage detection before metastasis occurs.
5. Final Verdict: Treatable but Not Curable
✔ Metastatic ALK-positive NSCLC is NOT curable with current treatments.
✔ However, it is one of the most treatable forms of stage 4 lung cancer, with some patients surviving 8-10+ years.
✔ Ongoing research may eventually lead to a cure, but for now, the goal is long-term disease control and quality of life.

In addition
✔ Many ALK+ patients stay in NED for 3-5 years on Alectinib alone.
✔ With multiple ALK inhibitors and careful treatment, some patients reach 8-10+ years of survival.
✔ NED is not the same as a cure, but long-term survival is possible.
✔ Regular scans and molecular testing help doctors switch treatments before major progression occurs.

This is so interesting. Chat GPT knows
It’s stuff. So she could live 8-10 years on the targeted therapy, longer if they keep making new ones. This could be her whole new career.

That’s super interesting. If her type of cancer is known to be survivable for years with targeted therapy how come she was claiming doctors told her she only had 6 months to live I wonder.? She mentions this a lot.

I think by the time the docs suggested it she was committed to the alternative path. I think also it was given specifically for her secondary brain tumours as it’s known to work well on that specially? But the way she describes that first doctors appointment is like that doctor had absolutely no idea, but as stated above it was definitely misrepresented.
