Jemma went to Mexico twice, both times paid for by GoFundMe campaigns. She raised at least half a million pounds through various fundraisers (not only GFM) and there was a lot of dishonesty about the financial side of things (there are a number of threads on her that go into detail!). There was also a LOT of family drama and her own mother didn't go to her funeral. Sadly, she had three small children, so as much as she was problematic in lots of ways, I'm still sorry that she died. Her husband has now taken over her social media accounts and is continuing to fundraise 'for her babies'.

Edited to add: Jemma was featured on an episode of Stacy Dooley's sleepover show – you can watch it here. It shows some of the same alternative treatments that Kate does, like the coffee enemas. Jemma managed to get a local company to build her a free 'healing house' in her garden that she used for the treatments (although it also ended up being used for her car sales business!).

Oh wow! That whole thing is tragic, in so many ways!

It’s worth a try. Or even just a quick message like pay attention to this person, there’s something not right about this situation. I saw the Megan Bhari story on Mia Freedman’s account. I suspect she gets a ton of messages but it couldn’t hurt replying to her. Perhaps reaching out directly to the writer who authored this piece, Isabella Ross, might be more efficient if anyone knows how to do that?

Is anyone else completely taken aback by the absolute quackery of most of the treatments Kate is receiving in Cancun?? I know we’ve seen it before but I’m completely gobsmacked all over again.

She HAS to have some sort of financial arrangement with that clinic - now she’s about to do a podcast or webinar or something with the clinic director talking about how wonderful it all is.

Also, she needs to stop the nose crinkling. It’s not cute, Kate…

I think the deal is she promotes the place and they cover the cooky treatments. The same as the disco imaging centre. They cover her mri's and pet scans and anything she needs.

One minute she’s so high achieving and putting her brother down, and next she’s got a teacher signing off on her research project because there’s no way she was going to do it, so he did and she was awarded a C. Does anyone remember the St Kilda school girl, aka Kim Duthie, aka Kimberley Ametoglou? She came out in 2021 and said she had stage 4 cervical cancer that had spread to her kidneys and rectum (cervical cancer doesn’t typically spread to kidneys ). She had a go fund me page that raised a lot of money and in the months following she had posted herself with all new Louis Vuitton bags and a new BMW. She would post herself all dolled up in her hospital attire with some really obscure stories. She had an Instagram page which has now been closed. I’m so interested to know what has happened to her. I can bet you she didn’t have cancer.

I do feel that Kate probably does have cancer but I do think she is receiving a lot more mainstream medicine than she admits.

I’m not familiar with ports and the way they need to be maintained. It would seem that keeping the area as clean as possible would be important. She had a giant gauze over it the days she was at the clinic but nothing at all for her tourist excursion. Would it not be important to cover it to protect the area from sand and dirty sea water and sweat when at the beach and out partying? Or is that not a big deal?

Just because Kate says her superfund has accepted her terminal illness paperwork to access her super doesn't mean any paperwork has actually been submitted, she can say anything she likes really, whose to actually know for a fact, she could write up and print out a letter that she has fudged up herself. I've always taken the position that Kate's cancer was real, but that she had a very good response to the targeted immune drug (Alectinib) she was put on at the time of the original diagnosis (and which is the drug she says she is also taking now). I know from other cancer patients that immune therapy can significantly extend life. Emily Hayward – who was an amazing young woman who never once fundraised for herself – lived several years longer than expected due to ipilimumab and then pembrolizumab. So I never doubted that Kate's cancer was real, but now I don't know what to think as there are just so many inconsistencies.

The scan results will be interesting, depending on what she chooses to share. If she gets bad results, I don't see how she can possibly admit that and still maintain that H4C was a success. I hope that, if she really is taking Alectinib again, it's working for her and that she's at least stable with no progression (as obviously I do not want anyone to die, especially a single mother of a young child). I haven't looked into this Dr James Fletcher person at all so I don't want to say anything negative about him, but I think it's worth noting that she went to him on the recommendation of her doctor friend Olivia Lesslar (another quack affiliated with H4C) as apparently he was 'open-minded' about Mexico.

Also, if Kate is having her latest scans at her usual place, which I understand is Mermaid Beach Radiology, then it's not exactly clear what kind of scans she's going to be having. She goes to this place because they offer some kind of 'low radiation' scan, but would that show truly accurate results? I would have thought that she would need a proper MRI and/or PET scan at an actual hospital to have a really accurate picture of her current status. I will be shocked if she posts anything other than hugely positive results with lots of nonsense about how H4C has again 'cured' her and that she's either NED or close to it. If she's telling the truth about her situation then she's too deeply in denial to accept any other outcome.

Her London doctor friend is not registered in Australia so couldn’t have referred for the scan. She could of course be sent a copy of the report but the referrer would be the main recipient. I would assume that is the oncologist so surely she would go back to him for the most accurate interpretation of her results.

I agree, I think she looks unwell also.
Whether it’s because she is making herself sick(er) with these unregulated substances she’s putting into her body that she has brought back with her from Mexico, or the cancer is taking a toll on her, or her mental illness is getting the better of her (she’s got to be dedicating every waking hour to these therapies/very manic), she looks bad to me. Despite the fading tan. Her hair is either thinning very badly (possibly a side effect of her therapies) or she’s simply not bathing anymore and it’s filthy. Either way, not a great sign.

and if she has bought some of these substances back from mexico, how does she really know whats in them.. it could be any concoction. She is not taking a break inbetween, its one hit of something after the other. Her hair is probably falling out from the over stimulation of all the stuff going though her. Shes shaking a lot more, her speech is a mess and if you look shes constantly got a dry mouth. She is really fucking her body up and her mental state.

I truly hope something is in fact a little off about this situation and that she is around for a very long time. All of this money she is spending daily, all her super and life insurance that she has used, I worry for her daughter once she is gone. This money would have been better put aside for her rather than wasted on all of these woo woo treatments. Especially as the father is an addict and I believe not involved. I still can’t believe she agreed to do ice once with her ex to try and save the relationship. That blows my mind.

That is fucking insane. No one is worth going down that path to save a relationship .. No one !!! She has blown so much of her money and the GF money and if she doesnt survive surely the money will be needed for he little girl and whoever has to care for her and her education.
