Ok, so I’m not a parent, but does anyone else get the ick that she’s letting her kid help her with her port or whatever that is on her chest? I get trying to make it seem normal and not scary for the kid, but getting her to do alcohol wipes and the rest seems a bit much?

Yes I think that’s too much. Would involve my kid for sure but in a different way...like look I have to do this, can I get you to think what we will do after, make her check what fruit or whatever we can have to eat for morning tea. Not the heavy side of duck it help me with my port. I have had a lot of medical trauma the past 5 years and it does effect your family and kids. But it’s not their job to nurse you, esp at that age.
It’s hard to think she kept her daughter in the dark and now she’s showing her a port? Shouldn’t there be planning for when she dies? Who’s her guardian?
I dont think she is looking well at all. Shes lost weight and looks very pale
