Yasmin was definitely referring to Kate back when she said that London is full of wannabes and she has no interest in hanging out at members clubs every other night. Kate is such a desperate social climber willing to put up with an unfaithful sleazy guy just because he’s well connected. Armin has friends who are pals with Brunei royals and attend the same weddings as the Trump family. One thing she will learn with time is that proximity doesn’t equal access. Kate is not from their world. Surrounding yourself with people who don’t have jobs and live a hedonistic lifestyle funded by daddy is how you end up falling off. People don’t find you relatable and no one is engaged with your content anymore. So many influencers who come from family wealth hide that fact because they know relatability is key and that’s what she built her brand on initially. She didn’t start off as one of them niche luxury influencers.
