Yes I watched when she testified but there is no way a 'sideswipe' could result in him flying 30 feet in the air, coming out of one shoe and dying, that's just not possible in my opinion.

I think he dropped his phone when he got out of the car and maybe didn't realise and then went into the house and all the calls from Jen McCabe were her looking for his phone.
So, you paraphrased what she said to suit your narrative.

As far as I’m aware, the first trial testimonies are not relevant to this trial and jurors will be instructed to work on what information they have now.

Microscopic pieces of tail light in his clothing is also pretty damning.
Apart from the clothing being in Proctor’s car for weeks with no proper chain of custody.
Also if you watch Dr Marie Russell she showed that the holes in the clothing were from something that had gone into it and been pulled out.

Microscopic. Did he take the taillight home, stick it in a blender, then rub it into the fabric?

I think it was pretty obvious in her testimony that she doesn't believe John was hit by a car.

I'm sure that rumour's out there...or it will be now.
"And then after that he got rid of his blender"

Yeh absolutely. Look at the whole context, not isolated incidents. Consider the evidence and what is most likely to have happened without *reasonable* doubt.

One person was the last and first to see John - Karen. The data and physical evidence, her own admissions, and eyewitness accounts.

or

multiple people involved in a county wide cover up, with a messy and fragile timeline and events, with all people managing to stay quiet/not give anything away despite media crawling all over them and the horrific Turtleboy infiltrating their lives.

Pretty easy for a juror.

The head injury wasn't caused by the car hitting his head. The head injury was caused by falling. Maybe she clipped him and he fell on the fire hydrant and cracked his head?

The glass John was found with didn’t match the glasses from the bar and didn’t match the glass on the bumper, there was a match to a single piece of glass submitted by Proctor.

It’s not that beyond belief that some could have been shoved into the bag and it splinters off over the weeks of being in the car 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m from a police family, I don’t want to think badly of the police but when there’s so many odd things about this case to the point other law enforcement comment on it, something’s up.
You lose ground when you have to be facetious about people’s opinions like hurr durr the stairs 🤪 yeah because he couldn’t have gone up and down…

We’re never going to agree as I believe in innocent until proven guilty and the Commonwealth haven’t even finished their CIC nor have the defence started theirs. I’ll agree to disagree and don’t see the point in replying to each other anymore. ✌🏻

I agree - and I admire your ability to ignore the multitude of red flags and maintain an ‘innocent until proven guilty’ approach.

Enjoy (if that’s the right word?!) the rest of the trial.

It's interesting because most defences will just try to attack the evidence/investigation- it's contaminated, there was incompetence in the investigation, cross contamination, bungled collection, a rush to judgment ...

This one you have to believe all that happened but in addition there was also a plot by multiple people (including people who weren't at the house) to frame an innocent person. For the death of a policeman.

I mean it's just such a stretch to have all that when you have Karen herself admitting it but not thinking he looked mortally wounded plus multiple electronic data which supports it to the second plus physical evidence of a collision. Plus the background - she was drunk and angry.

So with the electronic data do the defence now have to say he dropped his phone and that was left in the snow but he went into the house? I'm thinking they will have to say this to get around the location data and the phone temperature data? Separating John and his phone to my mind is the only thing that works for them now.

The lead investigator was literally fired for his conduct on this case.

No broken bones but it doesn't say anything about bruises. I walked into the door frame last week and I've a nasty bruise on my shoulder, but I do bruise very easily.
I have no idea how long it takes for bruises to come out - his hand was bruised. Was it his hand that took the force from and smashed the taillight? Or maybe she clipped his knee like she said and he span round and fell and hit his head on the hydrant?
