Kathleen Peterson had marks on her skull that looked like an owl's talons but guess what....the owl didn't do it, her husband did.

No dog DNA. No dog.
I forgot we live in a world where an owl attacking a woman inside her home was presented as a plausible explanation to her death. What a time to be alive.

I believe there was still a bit of life in him when they put him outside and that explains the 2.27 google search. He must not have died instantly with the bang on his head as there was vomit on his clothes.

I don’t believe they instantly thought to frame Karen, maybe they were thinking they could say a plough must have hit him but then Karen ringing Jen at 5am and saying “could I have hit him” sealed her faith with them.
So why not put him in the road if that's what you're trying to stage? Why would you leave him on your front lawn?

But they couldn't know whether he would die out there and if they've attacked him there's a risk he would get up and tell people. It makes no sense to be leaving it to chance and googling (effectively) how long is this murder going to take?

Because that’s where Karen dropped him off and remember the group chat said “say the guy never came into the house”

Did he get away with that ? I remember watching the documentary on Netflix but can’t remember if he went to jail

They can scrape and pull down with just their top teeth, he had puncture holes in his top but they never tested it
Come onnnnn. So there’s some rampant German shepherd ‘scraping and pulling down’ with its top teeth whilst not shedding a single hair or saliva sample. Or did they wash John down in this alleged timeline?

FYI, German Shepherds have almost perfectly aligned jaws for a perfect scissor bite. It’s why they’re used in canine units. Their jaws are extremely strong and can clamp suspects so effectively because of that. There’s no German shepherds out there just scraping with its top teeth like some goofy buck toothed hound dog.

The dog was careful not to leave any because it wanted to frame Karen

So they planned to frame her even though they couldn't be certain he would die? And he could have got up and told what really happened to him ?

if you pulled up at your sisters house and found a dead body on the lawn would you not immediately panic and wonder if your sister is ok ?
Or better still your sisters husband is a first responder you should be screaming for him to come out and help.

The ME also stated he had lost 3 litres of blood, where is the blood ? What they collected in red solo cups does not even nearly amount to that

Wow, how does the prosecution go about fixing this disaster? This case just gets crazier and crazier. It is scary to me how many people are good at lying or avoiding the truth. This guy will be lucky to keep his job. I bet his days of being called as an expert are over.

If I had a screaming hysterical woman with me who said I hit him with the car, why would I think I needed to go and check on my sister to see if she's in danger? The car driver was on the front lawn with me? If he was clearly frozen to death and I needed paramedics with a defibrillator I might concentrate on that and speaking to 911 and try to deal with the panic going on rather than go off and leave john there with hysterical Karen. Nothing Brian Albert could have added to the scene.

I think Burgess might be regretting the day he decided to "take the initiative" to submit a new report!

When they are planning this whole incident of dumping him on the lawn, and planning to frame Karen (why? What did they have against her? What did they have against John? Brian Higgins clearly wasn't interested in Karen that's clear from the text messages. She was pursuing him. She went to his house and nothing happened)
I still say why would you not take him further away from your own house, you have a load of strong men so moving him away wouldn't be an issue - and leave him in the middle of the road? So he could be bit by a car or a snow plough?
Framing Karen lets in far too many variables. They had to then have access to her car to be able to get a tail light and place it under the snow. What if that night she had driven miles away to her father's or something. They didn't know where she was going to be Or where her vehicle was going to be or if they would be able to access it to get the taillight pieces. For all they know her in tact taillight could have been picked up on video surveillance that night. They didn't know whe would crack her taillight reversing out. They didn't know the vehicle data would match their plan to frame her. They dumped him there he might not have died and could have come to if he was only knocked out but not dead. He had his phone with him and could have called for help and told the entire world what they'd done. Karen could have looped back to come to the party. She could have been all jolly on the way over and they could have been videoing their journey or she could have videoed him going into the house. They had no idea what evidence she would have about him going into the house.
If he had been knocked out by a punch and there was this big cover up you can guarantee they wouldn't have been googling how long to die in snow and leaving it to chance that he would die. The first thing you would do if there was a big conspiracy to cover this up is to finish him off for certain to make sure they got away with it. What sort of cover up is this when he had his phone and could have called for help? Instead they are inside googling how long will it be before this murder is successful? They would have finished him off so he was dead in order to ensure they got away with it.

You have to twist yourself into a pretzel to make this a credible alternative for what actually happened.

The "tell him he never came into the house" was not a conspiracy it was them trying to get the press to stop harassing them because he didn't even come into the bloody house! An attempt to stop this nonsense reporting and press harassment. Tell them the truth and maybe they'll leave us alone

I just hope the Jury are smart enough not to get wound up over Alessi’s dramatics. Burgess never testified on the stand that he was anything other than his job title / job role. The CV he submitted to the court was accurate.

Alessi spent how long attacking this guy?

Did he make 1 point about the actual data itself and what it told us? He spent a long time going over bits and gigabytes, but at the end of the day, the Lexus data is accurate in that it shows a collision marker that matches the last time John touched his phone. That data is indisputable, which is why Alessi is making a big drama out of what is really nothing. It’s a very good defence strategy, nothing more.
