My god she was angry and said a load crap I’m sure she didn’t mean. I know what verbal abuse means and I just don’t see that here. For all you know John could have been abusive to her too. None of us know them personally.

'Women supporting women' doesn't mean overlook awful behaviour, or evidence of a crime. Dear God. You've just proven your inherent female white privilege bias. If the judge deems John's mother's actions prejudicial she can reprimand her or bar her from the proceedings. I see a grieving woman who has lost her son and is being put through yet another farce to get justice for her son. I'm sure she'd rather not be there and have her son back.

Aside from her admitting it to at least three independent people, her broken tail light in his clothes, her lying about leaving him at the bar, the apple data, the phone temperature data, the Lexus data showing she reversed at speed, her behaviour at 5am, her being the only person to be able to see him (where she left him, in the snow) what other evidence would you expect to see? I'm genuinely interested what it would take to convince you where a defendant denies something at trial (which they often do).
