He was so cocky before yesterday about getting a podium! And shock he crashed and burned because he's racing too much!

He absolutely went for it because you have to risk it for the biscuit...What sensible coach would be so irresponsible.
And Strava today says that instead of resting today (and tomorrow), he is planning a double days with a cringe post saying: Nothing to lose, so let’s throw everything and the kitchen sink at it.

Bester asking if the person who beat him in a race should be disqualified for wearing illegal shoes. I'm pretty sure it was a small local race, not a championship or national race. Is he just a sore loser?
A sore loser. The rules would have been clear from the start if high stack supershoes were banned and generally in most races that rule only applies to elites. If they were banned in this race I’m sure the fella who won would have been told before the race even started he couldn’t run in those shoes.
If he feels so strongly on this injustice maybe he could volunteer at future races to ensure all participants are in fully legal shoes
