Also your flow is different at night cos gravity not doing its work which mean your tampon might be the wrong size, again risking TSS.
I used to be exactly like she’s describing - only wearing thongs and therefore wearing tampons all the time. She mentioned sex life. We literally live in a society which constantly tells women from day one that their value and worth is based solely on whether men find them attractive or not, yet somehow she seems to think that it is some sort of feminist act to exclusively wear thongs and shame other women for wearing normal underwear?? Nappies? If your boyfriend and you don’t love you enough to wear underwear which is comfortable just say that. My bf still wants to do the deed after seeing me wear big pants and my reusable sanitary products because I care about the environment and that makes our intimacy x100. She’s such an embarrassing try-hard cool girl. You might expect that from an 18 year old, even someone in their early twenties, but by her big age she absolutely should know better. Smacks of insecurities that she has to feel sexy at all times, too. Not every choice in my life comes down to feeling sexy or appealing to my husband, and I’m genuinely sad for her that she’s only driven by that.

I think it’s very telling of her age that she thinks that thongs are the only sexy underwear, the younger generations have moved on from them, get with the times lmao.And yeah, like who are you trying to impress whilst on your period? There’s only one person, it’s her partner and I cannot think of anything more depressing than having a relationship where you’re not comfortable and feel the need to constantly get dressed up around them.
