I noticed that and also thought it very odd they didn't ask how he was doing? You know seeing as he is their father and going through it all too. Wondered if maybe they had been asked not to mention him?

They were on This Morning together a few months ago so was strange. Can only imagine it puts a massive strain on a relationship, even more so than the standard first-time parent learning curve.
Cat Deeley said Jesy was visibly upset bts before the interview but was adamant about doing it, maybe he’s not ready for it.
I think it’s disgusting that the other LM girls haven’t offered their support. Regardless of what’s happened, 3/4 of them are mothers themselves!
Maybe they have privately? If they commented on her post they would likely be subject to so much criticism or even accused of trying to steal the spotlight. Hopefully they've reached out because if this doesn't get them talking again nothing will.
I agree, not everything has to be public.
Didn't take long for the little mix girls were mean to me rehash again. It's awful what she's going through but she should focus on her family and her own mental health not getting as much publicity as possible
Agreed, if they said anything publicly the narrative would be centred around Little Mix and not SMA awareness. Plus, not every bit of communication needs to be public.
Once she gets a petition rolling they might reshare but other than that I’m not expecting to see anything.
I also think Perrie’s due date is this week? I know she liked one of Jesy’s posts recently, wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve spoken.
I liked Welcome to Holland but only once the diagnosis had settled in. I wouldn’t have wanted it when I was still boarding for Italy.
Personally I wouldn’t blame Jesy for making documentaries or whatever else she can- the cost of care for two babies with significant medical need is astronomical and she will also need to pay for respite nurses etc with them being twins.
It can only be a good thing if this raises awareness for SMA to be added to the Guthrie test.

The girls have done right to not say anything in public and I would be surprised if they have privately too and I don't think they should.

Katie Hind jumps on anyone that’s currently getting headlines name and rehashes a story based on nothing. Jesy’s hardly gonna be thinking about that now is she 
Warwick university are doing a research study about adding SMA to the heel wick. My youngest (summer 2024) was in a level 3 NICU out of our area, not sure if this plays a part as it’s a larger city down south than the very small southern town where I am from. We only have a standard SCBU locally not a more severe unit. We had to consent after a chat and the researcher came back 24hours later to check again before adding it in. Then we got given an email survey maybe 6 months later which after thoughts questions. I’m not sure if it will get added to the heel wick but there’s got to be significant talks if some areas are doing it.

I don’t think it’s acceptable to use Jesy’s recent experience to rewrite her behaviour and the broken relationship with her old group.

Little Mix was their job. They were a manufactured pop band from a show, not lifelong friends. And how many people stay in touch with their old work colleagues? Mostly they're the reason why you left said job in the first place! I think it would be very false for the other members to send Jesy some sort of platitudes online like others have been in a desperate rush to.
They are genuinely friends though. Jade especially, anything the girls have on, she’s always there supporting nmw
The comments on the recent DM article are full of people saying how stunning Jesy is, how she was the best looking and most talented out of them and how the other three were jealous. It's quite a reversal from the past on articles about her.
Yes you need to be able to separate what’s happening now from her behaviour before.
My heart breaks for her and her family, and I hope her little girls get all the treatment the can to lead a good life.
I also think she’s a bit of a witch and that’s not changed by what she’s going through.
I don’t know, sometimes when you become a parent you end up seeing what really matters and what’s trivial. Who knows. It’s good that she’s doing some good right now
