I’m so happy they’re addressing it. People commenting, why bring it up when she’s going through so much 🙄 Not only did Jesy do a whole documentary milking it, if she hadn’t her children to exploit she’d still be banging about her hard time in cryptic posts trying to stay relevant. There isn’t enough spoken about regarding friendship break ups, they can be as bad as romantic break ups.
Also wasn't Leigh going through "so much" with being pregnant with twins when the whole Nicki Minaj thing happened?. Jesy didn't care then. Just because someone is going through something difficult doesn't mean they can get away with everything!

I actually nearly broke when she said she just wanted to be their mum.

It is sad that it had to take Jesy to speak out for people to listen. Families have been campaigning for a long time and not heard.

Jesy explaining her reasons on This Morning for making the announcement made total sense.

The way this thread started, and now, is day and night. It’s tragic :(

You can be an active parent and still do other stuff though, Zion can easily parent them while she’s doing that interview. Of course the documentary is a publicity thing but I don’t think her trying to get laws changed is a bad thing 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve read some of the coverage this morning and I really don’t think it’s fair to put the responsibility on 3 other young women who were also navigating a difficult situation with their own problems and issues. She almost expects them to have been her therapists. If she’s anything in private like she is in public it must have been one of almost constant moaning sessions and I don’t see how they could have been expected to know this time it was serious. I bet she never asked how they were feeling or doing either.

She appears to blame their behaviour for her overdose, then in the next breath she says that she was shocked they wouldn’t speak to her without a therapist present. But if someone is saying your behaviour has led to an overdose that would seem a pretty sensible protective measure for both Jesy and the rest of the band.

It’s also pretty low that the band have been reaching out and trying to build bridges and she’s made another documentary slagging them off to thank them.

This constant drip, drip of information is wearing as well. Is she going to keep making docomentaries and dropping a new nugget of sensational information in each one? What will she do when she runs out of them? Make them up for a payday?

It feels like she’s doing this because her children’s illness is a blanket of protection and she feels like she can say what she wants about anyone now and they have no right of reply because they will get a backlash of ‘how can you be so mean when she’s going through that’.

Is she going to be in her 90s running to TV stations with ‘new revelations’
about Little Mix? ‘I wanted McDonald’s but the other 3 outvoted me to get Burger King, I felt so invalidated’.

I feel sorry for all the mums that have campaigned for awareness of SMA and been ignored yet here comes jesy to save the day like she’s the only one suffering
Tbf the whole time she’s said about the years of campaigning others have done and why did it only take her platform for it to reach the media

Someone's commented on one of the Great Company posts - ETA it's the reel about Jesy on their instagram.

Well done Perrie for speaking out ❤ Worked with them for years and the girls had to constantly put their wants and feelings aside to manage Jesy's ever changing emotions.

Clicked on their account and they're actually followed by Leigh, Sairah, Zack - one of LM's stylists, and one of the old Little Mix dancers.

So many critical comments about him on DM.
Maybe it was Jesy who ended the relationship?
Maybe she just doesn’t have the emotional and physical capacity to be in a relationship atm?
Why is the assumption that he is a deadbeat dad who has walked away when she needs him most :(

I’m so glad the babies are ok. I feel like she’s deliberately left it ages to update people though to leave them worried and so she can get more engagement. It’s actually very cheap and distasteful to worry people after feeling the need to share everything online. Getting pregnant or becoming a mother doesn’t suddenly change someone and erase all their previous poor behaviour. I wish her a healthy pregnancy and birth but still think she’s an absolute clown desperate for fame.

Only just remembered Zion is almost a decade younger than Jesy. It’s likely he isn’t mature enough to deal with everything and also be a good partner (judging by what we‘ve seen). It realistically was a fling that ended up resulting in a pregnancy. He’s young and it’s evidenced by the way he behaves online. It must be such a shock for both of them. I hope the babies just get a lot of love from them both even if they aren’t together.
Yes, he was born in 99. He was 12 when she won X Factor 😆

She said “I just want to be their mum, not a nurse” and lots of people are criticising her for that. Also lots of people saying she should be doing more to raise awareness and make changes, but she’s just a first time mum doing her best. My heart breaks for her
Some people don't have an ounce of compassion and it's just really sad honestly.
Social media is vicious.

Ok so she left little mix 4-5 years ago. She’s had multiple solo career attempts and failings. She has then got knocked up accidentally by some cringy younger guy that she was already broken up with and now she’s getting a documentary with little mix mentioned in the title as it’s the only way it’ll draw an audience. How embarrassing.

Olly Murs couldn’t go to his twins wedding and they still don’t speak because of it
I find that wild. If I had a twin and they were on the xfactor live shows (considering how big that show was at the time) I would’ve been so proud and buzzing for them. It wouldn’t stop me enjoying my wedding. I can’t believe his brother cut him off over that 😭 there has to be something much deeper and more to it surely.

Apparently the NHS only screen for 10 gene disorders at birth 🙁 the US screen for 59, Italy 48… most European countries are 20+.

Apparently this is on her sister’s instagram stories, her account’s private so no way to check.

The thing is a therapist absolutely would tell you to manage your friendships in a way to protect yourself first. You need to put your oxygen mask on yourself before you can help someone else. And there’s a lot of cases where it might be advised to let that friendship go- if behaviour is becoming a cycle, if it’s becoming toxic, if it’s simply not serving you in ways that are helpful to your life or if you’ve tried picking them up multiple times but they aren’t learning from it or doing things to help themselves.

Good on Perrie for speaking out cos saint jesy the perpetual unsupported victim has done nothing but get her jabs in wherever she could regardless of what the others were going through.

She's turning into a serial moaner. Moaning how long she was in hospital for, moaning she wasn't awake for the birth, moaning the babies were in NICU and she couldn't hold them. Then she's moaning about the SMA not being picked up even though she'd moved to Cornwall by that stage which is a rural county and with a shortage of medical facilities (a friend lives there and is having a nightmare with her partners cancer treatment). Now she's moaning she's not a mum in the way she wants to be.

I'm finding it a bit hard going to maintain a lot of sympathy for her tbh, I had a rough pregnancy with my second and even though I'd sought medical attention 3 times in a week over my worries, my baby was stillborn. No it's not the dream she'd imagined but it isn't for a lot of others too. It's called life.

So only Jesy is allowed to speak her truth and the girls must stay quiet? Her family don’t help and I feel like they drove a further wedge into LM with her mums views on them too. 3 people and a whole team of people can’t all be unanimously wrong and let someone down compared to 1 person who is apparently the only one telling the truth in the whole situation. I know they family and love her but come on.

Poor woman, what a horrible situation to be in, how scary.

Maybe she’d prefer to tell the world rather than there be speculation? This is the only aspect of her pregnancy she has any control over.

Yeah no treatment is 2 year life expectancy. They had the treatment that stops any other muscle dying but the ones that already have won’t ever be able to be recovered. So they’ll be in a wheelchair for life and as their legs stopped moving before treatment they won’t ever walk. There’s 20+ year olds living with SMA from her comment section.

They’re at GOSH twice a week she said on This Morning.
