I've listened to it on audio book. She does mention her mum in it
Does she talk about her relationship with mum? why she wasnt being looked after properly?
I still don't know what to think of all the various stories I've heard of her. Was she completely just a victim or was she at some capacity in on it helping to traffic others. I've heard such conflicting stuff over the past couple of years. No doubt she had a tragic life though.
I think thats likely an issue with many of the survivors. If only life was so easy that it could be one or the other. Does the fact she recruited for him after sometime cancel out the fact he grape and arranged her grape and abuse on so many occasions? I suspect her suicide if thats what it was, was compounded by some shame and guilt. I used to watch the comments on her socials posts. Lemme see if they are still there....ahhh her brothers and partners have taken over the page so not easy to go back right now but there used to be daily awful comments on VG's posts from 'mothers of abused survivors' I seem to remember one was based in Ukraine. I wasn't sure if real or bot. Its easy to forget how very young she was.

I am very sceptical and I'm sorry for that but I don't trust anyone anymore. I've seen so many narcs in my lifetime that I have even had to question stories like hers (just look at Smeg). Have you ever seen those who actually were running the show admit they were just evil and completely doing things out of their free will and knowingly? It's very rare.
All that said, I am very sad about how her life turned out and how she suffered all through her life. Abuse is never justified.
One of the reasons she was so brave coming forward was knowing she'd have to face such questions. Would be good if people could remember, though, that she's just one of the hundreds of young women and girls who were involved, and none of this is her - or their - fault.

I know this isn't fully Epstein related, but I do sometimes wonder if some of Kate Bs issues run deeper than we know.....
I know she has issues anyway around her Dad dying, which is bad enough, cos I think she found him dead as well.....
I guess it's just clear from the Epstein stuff and lots of people being involved, that there are lots of these vile groups of people around, at various scales and a lot of victims out there too.....

Like many of Epsteins other victims, when she was old enough that he and his cronies had lost interest sexually in her, they used her to traffic more girls, yes. It’s all part of the grooming and it was also used for blackmail - how could the victims report Epsteins crimes without revealing their own? You rarely get a perfect victim, but she was a victim nonetheless.
