Rich will milk the drama for views now. He stated that he doesn't have any drama with Jefree but keeps on uploading videos with his name and using him for views. Didn't expect anything better
I wondered about that video he just uploaded about I'll try to watch it later.
Before everyone was afraid of talking bad about Jafar. Careers would be destroyed and everyone would always take Jafar's side. I even remember beauty gurus that looked like they didn't like some of Jafar's products and would be afraid of saying so and always give positive review. Even Nick Snyder was attacked for saying he didn't like those awful lipglosses or the packaging of his Morphe collab and I even remember Rich Lux reprimending him for saying so, even though Nick is on the payroll.
Suddenly everyone is coming forward with expose videos and calling him out. What do you think changed? Why are these people suddenly coming foward?
I don't think Jafar will ever be cancelled, he's like a cockroach. He has his brainwashed stans which are many, has Shane on his side which is loved by many and also has lots of consumers that simply love the products and the videos and don't care about the drama or what he's done. But there's certainly a shift and I think it started when the Dhavie situation was exposed, though none of the big payroll channels covered it properly and it didn't create the big blow I thought it would. I thought naively that if something was going to cancel him since nothing ever did, would be his connection and lies about Dhavie, but not. So what happened? Why did Ashley Kyle thought it would be better for her to stop her connected with Jafar? Why is Kam Lester and that Tab guy coming forward now? I don't believe the conspiracy theory about it being youtube trying to bring views though.

Rich had a point in his last video. He said Jefree is restocking this week so I guess Jefree told everyone to make drama around his name because of the new release...
I agree I don't think Jafar can be cancelled either.
One theory ( from a youtuber) I heard is that Youtube is behind this and Youtube wants to get J* off the platform due to being problematic. People have been calling J* out, it happened back in 2016 with the N word and he is still around. I don't think Youtube is doing to increase views on their platform either. I heard that Youtube is going to become more corporate like.
I thought I heard that Ashley said that her connection with J* had put her in the hospital and it wasn't worth it to her. I guess her conscience got the best of her when realized how everything affected James Charles.
ETA: You may be right that it all has something to do with the Dhavie situation especially since it's a criminal investigation going with it.

Did he care for James Charles's mental health when he was calling him a predator with no evidence?
If people are going after J* because of Dhavie - which they should by all rights - but isn't that also taking away from Dhavie? Like J* going on Chris Hansen(?) for an interview, even though there is a court case about Dhavie and wouldn't J* also need to be involved in that? why would Chirs Hansen interview him when their is a court case going on?
As problematic as J* is, he won't be pushed off the platform, and if he was there would need to be a lot of other YouTubes who are problematic as him that would need to get pushed off too.
Obviously not. Also, has Jeffree ever took responsibility for anything he did or even apologized? Even in his "apology video/I was in a dark place" for Dramagedion 2, he never took accountability for his part in it. He also didn't so on the Mom's basement podcast and threw all the blame to Tati. Even in his "PR apologies" for his racist past, he never exactly takes accountability either. Everything is either someone else fault, the circunstances or him being in a dark place. This is disturbing to me.
Also the hypocrisy of Nick Snaker. He can miss me with his "It's my channel and I upload what I want and if I don't feel like uploading videos about Jeffree that's my decision and not for my benefit. I'm not bias" or "I'm just gathering my receipts" BS, because where was this same energy when he was pumping 20 or 30 videos in a row about James Charles without receipts and based on rumors? Or when he angrily reported about very minor irrelevant drama about James Charles not connected to the Dramagedion 2 issues? I went to look at his channel and he keeps on reporting irrelevant drama no one cares about, but suddenly he doesn't feel like reporting on the hot topic of the moment and is avoiding touching on it like the plague? I agree that Chris Hansen handled the situation very badly and his interview with Jeffree that ended up not giving us any information and was just a PR stunt for Jeffree ended up being Chris Hansen exploiting the case and not really handling it properly and keeping the focus where it should. Of course that Dhavie should always be the main focus of the criticism in this situation because as far as we know Jeffree was just a witness. And as you say Jeffree should be giving his testimony on a court of law as a witness about what he saw (he can miss me with his BS of, "I thought he had done stuff based on rumors, I didn't see anything even though I wrote with all letters that I saw it myself because reasons" ) and not interviews on social media. I wonder if Jeffree was contacted to talk with the police as a witness or not, but I guess we+ll never know.
Yes, I also don't think Jeffree will be pushed of the platform no matter what he does, but calling him out when he does something bad, doesn't mean the same energy is not directed to other problematic youtubers either. He deserves to be called out, and so does others, but just because there are other problematic youtubers too, that doesn't absolve him.

IDK. this whole situation is crazy.
Inthink Jeffree has a huge chip on his shoulder and doesn't want anyone to be more successful than him. I think he is manipulative and the number of his failed friendships say a lot about him.

Of course a long text instead of addressing everything like he does for other stuff because he knows the majority of his fandom is on youtube and if he addresses these issues on youtube, many of his stans who have no idea this is going on (because they don't watch channels that are anti Jeffree and the payroll channels aren't talking about these issues properly) will know about the allegations and he doesn't want that.

Really, I haven't watched yet. He said he wasn't going to release them, but then he released? I don't think he's going to be cancelled and 100K in several millions is not that much. Also funny how in his text "apology/excuse" he's not addressing other issues that came to light, only those 2. Also funny how he's talking about not wanting the pic of self arm exposed (which I agree), but having it displayed on his music video Prom Night. His text apology is a mess and an obvious try to deflect.
yeah he also said he has over an hour of voice messages but he won't release everything in one go because he said that Jeffree will try to make an excuse again so he will keep coming back with more receipts to disprove him. Of course he does this for more views,he also asked everyone who is gonna use those messages to quote him because he is the one he has those receipts. I don't really care that he tries to gain subs and money by this drama as long as Jeffree gets exposed.
Anyone seen Peter Monn's video? I think he breaks the situation down quite well. Jeffree says he has changed but never does and always gets away with it despite being a grown man who should know better. He constantly says he is sick of drama but if he truly was he could leave YouTube and focus on his makeup.
