Nah, it’s totally normal. Almost every couple I know that has kids, the dad did at least 90% of the nappies in the first few weeks/months, especially if mum was breastfeeding. It’s a fair division of work if the dad can’t do any feeding, plus gives him time to bond.though is it odd that she hadn’t really done any of the nappies ?

You could hear he was in pain....As a parent, especially a new one, you feel helplessHaving a colicky/refluxy baby really is a whole different world, add that with birth trauma and the regular pp emotions and there’s no wonder she was struggling. My first had colic and reflux and it’s only since having my second that I fully appreciate how traumatic it was at the time to have a baby that screams and cries in pain for literally hours at a time.
if she was in the room the whole time and not asleep herself then I think it’s okay? Not to be that person but the picture of him asleep on his stomach? I thought that was dangerous before a year?
For some babes with reflux it’s recommended (especially for naps when they’re being watched)Not to be that person but the picture of him asleep on his stomach? I thought that was dangerous before a year?
Wish they’d told me this as my son had the worst reflux and colic but to be honest i probably still wouldn’t have risked it as an over worrierFor some babes with reflux it’s recommended (especially for naps when they’re being watched)
My late mum would say 'they're only small children for a short time'...my two are 21 and 24 and I miss them being smallYeah like have you ever had reflux and tried laying flat on your back? It’s bloody horrible and it will be coming up your oesophagus pretty quickly. Good on Jas for sharing such an honest selection of clips. Makes me realise what hell I must have put my parents through as I was a colicky / refluxy baby apparently
I’m glad they have such good support from her parents. When she was getting upset about how she’s always wanted a baby and it’s not going well I felt for her - and I don’t even want / like kids
I just watched and feel the same I hope she’s ok but deffo signs of pnd to me. Hopefully she’s okI’m worried about her. I know this was filmed weeks ago but, I hope she’s got friends near her
I think we've all been in a situation we've longed for and the reality is not how we thought it would be. I felt for her too.Yeah like have you ever had reflux and tried laying flat on your back? I thought this too in regards to the pnd. I think regardless of the situation, especially with a refluxy/colicy baby, is going to be stressful/upsetting/tiring but didn't think pndShe’s brave to vlog all those bad parts for sure 🥲
Really makes me glad I don’t record my life and can watch it back, weeks 6-12 with my baby were absolutely awful because of silent reflux. He’s 15 weeks now and I’m glad we’re finally get out of that hell(until the next sleep regression or whatever )
Is it just me that doesn’t see anything overly worrying or like pnd there? We’re also only seeing such a small part of her life so I don’t think anyone could know how she is really feeling anyway. Hopefully she reached out for help if she needed it though!
