Maybe there was a sexual assault took place at the Airbnb. I haven't read anyone suggesting this and I've been reluctant to bring it up. But Jay may not have wanted to say this in the telephone call. It would explain why he wouldn't go back in to the bnb. I'm thinking why would he go on a hour drive with two strangers just to go to sleep when he could have crossed the road to his hotel. Did they tell him they were partying back at the bnb, as that's what Jay thought he was going there for

Did that detective say he was releasing another statement today about new findings?

That did cross my mind, why leave at that time with no bus or anything to walk all that way when he didn't even know the way and also why veer off the road to attempt the cliff like he did.

How the duck is he supposed to have climbed down that?!

So he's ducked up enough to decide to walk 10 hours instead of waiting for the bus but alert and sober enough to scale down a cliff with no equipment, skills and after a 3 day rave?

I assume that was what his friend heard on the phone, him making his way down. Just one look and you wouldn't dare attempt it even if you thought it would be a short cut.

I think he was close to the road when he spoke to Brad as he said something like "I'm not walking all the way down that road" so can't have been that far off track at that point

Is where they found him anywhere near that route that person took who filmed it walking on the paths/ through the caves and then thought they smelt a rotting smell and could see the grey shape of a body on a ledge and go no further? Or has this been debunked as rubbish? Sorry if I've missed it x

So stupid, he should have stuck to the road. I assume he didn't see how bloody treacherous it was until it was too late.

Debunked. Those caves are on the other side of the island apparently

Older video from before he was found but at the start you can see how easy it would be for him to go off-road, how soft and unstable the ground it and how easy you could fall, not even at a great height:


This other one (I know it's CT's TikTok) but look at the people check-in the ground is safe with hiking poles before they jump down for each step. He had no appropriate equipment.











There's also a high change he collapsed (dehydration etc.) and that's when he had a fatal fall. Even a fall on stable ground, if you're unconscious it could cause a severe head injury. He might not even have been fully awake when he fell and broke his bones.

Katie Hopkins alluded to that in a video the other day, I swear I don't follow her but it popped up on YouTube!!

At the end of the day it is sad that a young lad lost his life. It is even sadder that his family will never know exactly what happened.
If foul play was involved, the perpetrators got away with it as it's being passed off as an accident.
I guess it's what they call the perfect crime.

Years ago my brother and a few mates went on a stag do to the Lake District. They went on a walk and after a few drinks the stag thought it would be a laugh to jump off a cliff or mountain (not sure) into what he thought was a deep river. Turned out to be a lot shallower than he thought. Miraculously he survived but was crippled for life 😔
