I’ve just watched her latest video and the eye liner things do look really nice but I just can’t justify £21. Especially when I have a couple of MAC paint pots and PLouise bases that do the same job. Maybe if I need a new eye base in the future I’ll consider these but not until there’s more (unbiased) reviews available

Yes even if it’s your own brand you’re supposed to label it ad....cos it’s an ad 😂 I don’t know how these instagrammers/you tubers don’t seem to understand this cos it seems pretty easy to me!

She’s one of the worst at labelling ADs too... even though those ADs and loyal viewership have got her to where she is. Influencers just don’t like breaking the relatable bubble do they  would respect her a lot more if she was transparent

Yeah exactly- I dunno what the big deal is cos I think everyone these days can tell an ad or if something is sponsored or gifted really easily and not labelling it as such just looks sneaky.

One trick pony. She always has been when you think about it. Apart of course from her ‘Halloween specials’ 😂
I think the big part of her success is her personality because she does the same looks over and over and over.

Shocking prices. She’s a girl from humble beginnings. Proper self made. When she was blowing up she was still grafting in Debenhams, Onyx. I would like to see her offer something more affordable than that! Not dirt cheap but just more reflective of who she was - a normal girl turning her hand to make up artistry.

100% agree. Those prices are a complete coin in at the expense of the people who made her. Shocking! It just screams that she has no regard for her viewers / fans and is willing to extort them.

I don't want to defend her as I would prefer all makeup to be affordable for everyone...

But... it seems good quality and there is a VERY limited choice of vegan/cruelty-free 'posh' makeup, so people will buy Vieve.

Her only competitors in that sense are Ilamasqua, Glossier and Hourglass - and they cost a fortune. Charlotte Tilbury used to be CF but no longer is.

There is a big demand for high-end vegan/CF makeup and as long as her stuff is good, I genuinely do hope it does well. Maybe then Laura Mercier, MAC, Nars, Estée Lauder etc etc will see you can do fancy and ethical. And more people might move away from them if there's more choice.

Her make up is good quality. I like the palette, the lip products and the blushers. The highlight is also nice, just a bit too chunky and glittery for me, but by no means a bad product.

That all being said though, I do think the prices are a little steep for a new brand. By all means bump the prices up a bit once you’re fully established, but I do think she went in quite expensive for a lot of her fans, and let’s face it, it’s the fans who are going to help launch the brand and (hopefully) make it a success.

the mark up on makeup is astronomical. She is just greedy and for some bizarre reason thinks she is on the same playing field as luxury brands. Look at ELF - vegan, cruelty free and very probably of similar quality.

How the hell has she got electricians in her house? And flooring people ? Ffs. Tone deaf. Poor show Jamie.
That’s the issue though, it’s always The Jamie Show with sideshow receding Bob (Jack).

They’ll pass the renovations off as EssEntiAL cos she NEEEEEEEEDS her make up room for “WoRk” aka the same Smokey boring a eye and blow up doll lip look to shill Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, GHD and her own overpriced rit.

£10,000 fine to the tradesmen and a hefty one to her too. Police will ask for the work to stop first and give them a chance. I’m not one for judging anyone breaking the rules but people doing this actually boils my blood

It’s the fact she’s on social media advertising that they’re breaking the rules! 🙈 if you’re going to do it then surely keep it quiet and just show off the work that’s been done after the restrictions lift. What I think makes it more annoying is that this time last year during the beginning of lockdown she was always bleating on in her vlogs about how important it is to follow the guidelines and how her and Jack weren’t going out at all etc....aye well that didn’t last long eh?! Pissed off to Italy and have been galavanting around ever since 😂😂

Have they definitely got tradespeople in? I’m not defending her but I’m in disbelief that she would openly advertise it on Instagram 😂
