Probably a gift from Vanessa or something he bought to mark the occasion because the family can’t do something normal with having to make a song and dance about it. He always has to make it about him. God forbid he let Vanessa and Sean have their moment.

I’m a bit disappointed Vanessa seems to be going down the baby spam route. I expected her to have a bit more cop on.

The whole thing is EXTREMELY weird. Dancing around the garden in underwear and roping the family in. He needs a boyfriend seriously. When he gets the freebie nights away, they seem to have to invite him and his parents too it’s so so sad. He can be very vulgar too. I wonder why he doesn’t want to grow up and get a real job and life

He’s a bit sad alright. That night in Cork with his parents recently, could he not leave them to have a meal on their own and go off and do his own thing? Hanging off mammy and daddy at 30 odd is weird.

Please tell me it’s not just me that finds it weird to have alcohol at a child’s first birthday party? Any kids party at all really, but especially a first birthday party

I think it’s weird to have a group of adults toasting a one year old with champagne. The poor kid has no idea what’s going on but these parties are never about the kids and all about the awful adults who think everything is content for the gram.

The best present Vanessa and Sean could give their daughter is the gift of privacy and not have her on show to all sorts of randomers.

I showed the Steps routine to my mom and she thought it was James and Vanessa that got married. I'd say the husband must be a complete pushover

They keep trying to make "Malahide Woman" happen. It's mortifying to watch. This kind of thing is best reserved for your front room at dinner parties, and even then it's embarrassing. And what's with James' weird / gross noises that he does on a loop on his stories every single day. And the little sketches with his sister, "put it in the bag", I just can't. No no no, stop inflicting your weird family habits and routines on the rest of the world as if they're A. entertaining, B. normal or C. assuming people give a shit.

MW was funny for about five minutes. And that was in lockdown when there was feck all else to watch. Now it’s just a delusional thirty something man running around his parents garden in a swimsuit. And mammy, daddy and sister are worse for encouraging it. I’d say he was the kind of child who always got his way.
