Just seen this, if they came out and said this is why we've sacked the vlogs off that would make sense, but i don't think it is!

It makes sense why they didn't appear on Gogglebox this week

If this isn't the nail in the vlogs coffin I'd be shocked, there wasn't much they didn't show let's be honest from the layout of the garden and access point to the back of the house to the kids bedrooms and what they keep stored in the garage.

If they were reluctant before I think this will seal the deal now no one needs that happening in their life especially around kids, mind you it won't stop people still constantly begging for more their viewers are obsessive over their vlogs and thirsty for Clair of course .

It's strange that they should be making themselves so publicly involved with the ice hockey team. They have always hidden the boys faces but the boys attend ice hockey with them which is probably more risky. Instead of just attending games quietly as a family,they draw attention to themselves, probably getting free tickets as long as they post the team on social media.
I definitely think this stalker is the excuse they needed to stop vlogging. I admit I enjoyed the original vlogs because at that point they were relatable as a family, but as the vlogs became more popular the authenticity disappeared the laziness and greed became very clear. The podcast is regurgitated content provided by their followers. These ridiculous meet and greets are a ridiculous attempt to try and keep people interested,whilst allowing these 2 to get pissed for free. I give it a couple of years before Clair gets bored and either has an affair or goes off with someone else, either musician or athletes.

I don't think anyone actually believes these two will put out vlogs unless its an Ad or sponsored. She constantly says the vlogs will be back. I know they've had a stalker who was found guilty,but its odd they post so much on IG, obviously the stalker hasn't put them off putting theirs and the kids lives on SM. I did wonder if she really was a stalker or someone James had flirted with on a lads night out/trip

It lasted 16 minutes,that included an Ad. I genuinely think they had a contractual obligation to post the Hello Fresh Ad. I loved the old vlogs when it was them at home or with their neighbours. Unless they start posting regularly I won’t believe the vlogs aren't for anything other than Ads or sponsorship

I finally watched it and you all are exactly right. Not that I was expecting a genuine comeback to the vlogs anyways but that was even more disappointing than I thought. Every time they come back, it gets further away from the heart of the earlier videos. :/
Clair posted a comment where she replied to someone saying the vlogs were coming back but it looks like she just meant coming back sporadically when they need to keep up a contractual obligation.

I also don’t even understand why they’re doing the podcast, financially I mean. Because you need to rent that studio, pay people to help, not to mention the film crew, etc so they almost need more income to keep that going it would seem, when the majority of viewers thought the bread and butter was just their genuine vlogs.

No doubt they've got more crap to sell or advertise,highly unlikely they'll be doing anything genuinely for their viewers. Just imagine if James had a currently successful career(not living in the past relying on Inbetweeners,) they wouldn't need to rely on random Ads or unrelated sponsorship deals.

Hysterical that they've announced 'out with the Buckleys' 2025 tour,these two really dont get it,first people to remain interested they need to actually post more than the podcast. Vlogs every couple of months just to sell or promote aren't enough to keep people interested. Wouldn't be shocked if Clair eventually sets up an only fans page, she knows it would be guaranteed money,probamore than James could earn because of his laziness

Im assuming the people who will pay good money to watch them chatting,think sitting drinking will make them relatable. They rarely acknowledge faithful supporters unless its for easy content or to benefit themselves. When I look at James and the other 3 actors,he is clinging onto his time on the show, the others have achieved lots on tv,in movies and behind the scenes writing and directing. Suppose to maintain a lifestyle they enjoy ,they have to resort to desperation gimmicks. One vlog in months and it lasted 17 minutes, just confirms how lazy they both are

I remember when he stated how much he made on those Cameo videos - I cant remember where or what it was exactly, but a lot for 3 minute videos. He can only call so many people a bus wanker for their birthday before that dries up though

How long can that be lucrative? James doesnt come across very well in tv interviews. Also he's been on a few tv quizzes,he's definitely not very bright.I've noticed his mate Danny Dyer doesn't appear to involve him in any of his acting projects.

The dyers have a podcast too which the could have invited The Buckleys on for a little collab.

He seems surprisingly shy on TV. I've seen him on House of Games and recently on The Hit List (I can't remember who his partner was - not Clare - but he just stood there like a lump and hardly contributed anything for all his love of music). He's not very quick witted outside of the vlogs - where I used to think him funny - haven't bothered now in ages as they annoy me too much.
There was a Children in Need ad flashed up earlier - he and Clare seem to be doing something for it.

I can't believe a tour would sell well at all...I listened to their pod for a bit as someone who'd never seen their vlogs and was underwhelmed. Packed full of adverts and poor content. I don't think they can be pulling many new listeners in or converting people into long-term listeners so can't imagine who would buy tour tickets
