I think from the last couple of videos they've removed that skull from the sitting room thank goodness.
I hope the children aren't exposed to a lot of the horror/serial killer stuff. They're only kids and you think they can rationalise it but sometimes they can't, and feel they're wusses to admit they don't like it.
When my daughter was about 10 she stayed with her best friends overnight. The parents (good friends too) said they all were going to watch The Exorcist and I said absolutely not. Under no circumstances. Anyway it turns out they did and I was livid. Shouted down by everyone in my ex husband that I was being silly and it was just 'pretend' and that the children had found it funny.
Years later my daughter told me she had been absolutely terrified and hadn't wanted to watch it. It had affected her for a very long time.
Clare especially seems to find horror and gore entertaining and amusing, and glamourous - fair enough if that's her thing - but I really hope they shield their children from it.
Completely agree, horror and definitely true crime shouldnt be around children. Because of my work Ive always been fascinated by the psychology of crime, neither of my boys, both nearly 23 know exactly what my job entails ,to them mums just a nurse who's worked in a&e for many years. At their age I still want to protect them

This week supposedly Claire had issues uploading the vlog,as ususl prior ro Wednesday she posted almost daily, then claimed it was taking too long to update, then no further mention of whether the vlog will be up or not. James has been posting on IG, but not a mention of the vlog,I dont think either of them could make it any clearer they couldnt care less about the vlogs or podcast. Last weeks vlog had clearly been filmed at least 2 weeks earlier. They clearly want the sponsorship and freebies but don't want to do the work. Claire will use the excuse of laundry, cleaning and the kids, although the kids are 10 and 12 and entertain themselves and poor James having to work for a few months has probably overwhelmed him,no daytime drinking or just generally doing sod all. Imagine if James had to work in the real world to provide for his family

^ just saw a story from James sitting in the theatre basically asking for cameos, and for some reason this one struck different and left a bad taste. He said “ 40 quid, what more could you want” ( or something like that I forgot) and it’s just that so so many people cannot make ends meet right now, I mean I’m in the USA and can’t even swing doctors visits right now.
It was tone deaf and came off as only coming on to drum up business for both the play and cameo.

I felt they were really humble at the start, so either they’re just part of the greed machine and want to live lavishly or are actually struggling for money right now? Idk it’s just… fizzling out for me

I think Clare's spending the cash quicker than he makes it. Isn't she bored not working.

I've just seen his post. He really is clueless, obviously £40 to him is clearly negligible, but as you correctly said some people are struggling financially. Neither him or his wife want to put any effort in, but want the money. Since they joined a management company, they seem lazier whilst also being greedier. They were more relatable when they first started vlogging

Claire seems to do bugger all apart from clean and buy food. She's like a 50s housewife.

If she hadn't met ( gold dug her way) James, she would be in a council house on UC
Im sure i read somewhere she had previously dated a footballer, I could be wrong. I get the impression her aim was to 'pin down' a successful bloke, sadly James is bone idol and thinks he will be able to make a living off the back of the Inbetweeners for the rest of his life. Once the boys are older I think she may leave him.

Wasn't she a glamour model? I suppose once she met James and got pregnant that was the end of that, or should we call him Jimmy like she does!!

She got pregnant very quickly too, back when he was a TV/Movie star! She must be looking for the receipt for him.

Do you reckon they're Internet will be working today.
Not sure it was worth uploading. I think James was right, maybe upload once a fortnight, rather than say weekly and repeatedly miss uploads. It's really clear Claire likes the podcast because it entails a couple of hours drinking and someone else does the editing. Not sure they will go back to the down to earth relatable vlogs again, everything is so lazy now

Does James have a relationship with his family? Assume they’re pretty close geographically, and there’s vlogs in Scotland and chat about when he first met her family etc, but haven’t heard the other way round. Or them popping over for a BBQ etc. unless I missed it? They mentioned he’d gone though hardships when they met so wondered if something had happened…

When they first started vlogging, during lockdown at christmas they did a gift exchange at his sisters house in the garden. He also talked about his mum,but everything does appear to revolve around Claires family.

Maybe they weren't happy him marrying a cheap glamour model/Gold-digger?
Did wonder this, if they thought he had a chance at making it really big in the height of inbetweeners fame, but then got married and had 2 kids back to back at 24. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but if I had the chance of being a movie star I may have waited a couple of years haha.
They do like to project themselves as being cool but they have lived a pretty sheltered life, settled down very early, don’t really travel the world etc. they just skipped the ‘20’s and free’ stage. Don’t know if maybe they now have FOMO so overjustify being ‘homebodies’. I mean, sure, I’m in my 30’s too and love a takeout and movie while the kids are in bed. But I didn’t so much in my early 20’s, had to get ‘party’ out my system, and I didn’t even have the chance of getting into celeb parties. She really locked it down fast “accidentally”, “twice”, and put a stop to all that.

You make some really good points yo be honest. I dont understand how Claire feels fulfilled relying on James to provide financially, knowing how lazy he is in the home, with the kids and even when it comes to his career. It's not just about paying bills,it's about feeling fulfilled as an individual, do often she says how boring her life is. I've been watching some of their older vlogs and James can come across as very selfish, leaves her to take the boys out so he can sleep. One afternoon she was meeting up with Jo Dyer, he did everything to try and get her to cancel and stay at home with him. Claire can actually do do much more than him, probably only needs him financially but is capable of earning her own money but chooses to rely on a lazy man. I love being at home, idolise my sons but Im so glad i never gave up my career, never relied on a man for money or to pay bills. When I look at them I definitely wouldn't say they are ,'couples goals',he loves his social life with his mates, slerping all day after heavy drinking sessions and being centre of attention, shes basically a live in housekeeper/nanny
