My youngest son had long hair and the amount of comments we got from family members telling us to cut it was unbelievable! He does have short hair now but it was when he got older he said he wanted it short. When it was long it was so soft and lovely condition and ever since it’s been short it’s now like straw

Like why do other people feel the need to comment on other people's children's appearance, we're all well aware about fat shaming and skinny shaming etc yet people think they have free reign to comment on other people's childrens appearances. I think long hair is gorgeous on boys and girls and I think short hair is gorgeous on girls and boys,and I think the most gorgeous is a child loving how they look without interfering old cunts commenting 🫠

80% of the comments on her latest selfie are about the vlogs and the other 20% are horny men.
some of the comments came out swinging as well, as her caption was “ POV what your dog sees” or something like that and someone actually went “ POV another week with no vlog”.

I don’t get why if they’ve truly closed that chapter why they don’t just sit down for a brief explanation like guys we just find it pressurizing and we didn’t expect the following during Covid and can’t keep up or something. Anything would be better than just pretending it doesn’t exist.

Her only way to escape these comments now I reckon is to delete and create a new private IG

Just noticed she’s linked another affiliate link for clothing today. I used to think people were actually flooding her dms about her brands and I don’t doubt people ask but it feels like just posting pics solely for the sake of linking the clothes. Even when she’s at an angle when we can’t even fully tell what it looks like. Her prerogative..just feels like the ad revenue money is what the aim is now. It was already started to get old seeing them promote a new car in each new vlog, because it felt like they were only doing it because there was a kick back. We liked the down to earth people struggling along with good humor and funny reactions, not the influencer version.

I think Clair has her eye on anyone who can give her lifestyle of luxury without her having to work. Wouldn't be surprised if she moves on once the boys are older. I can't understand why she runs round like a housekeeper, while James and both boys sit back and watch. It's not as if James is putting in a day's work, if he's lucky he does on project a year and he struggles with that.

Previously (some time last year) both Claire and James mentioned about the boys deciding how they have their hair cut. I think at one point both boys had shoulder length hair,but as Harrison was about to start secondary school he had his cut,they did mention that Jude has quite an issue with having his hair cut, not sure if there's a past bad experience or hes just frightened . James visited a new barber he'd found online and took the boys,apparently it was the first and only time Jude didnt react badly, but I noticed James started getting his mate to cut his again.

I noticed that Clair went "ohh she's so horrible to James" in a part of their last vlog. I'm guessing she reads comments somewhere but people in the youtube comments don't tend to say that, unless it's really far down and unpopular/ downvoted. So either the podcast comments maybe? or here? idk

re: the stage, I honestly don't know how he does it, he says he's never really gotten past the nerves, so that would be really hard. He's wayyyyy more introverted than he comes across, even this long into watching him I've noticed that. If that were me, I'd never make it on stage, I'd just probably pass out and roll down the hallway stairs/ be sick.. then roll down lol.

James is only really loud and extrovert if hes 'playing a character',the real James comes across as a very quiet,introverted,nervous man with very little confidence. If you listen to him he regularly runs himself down,but will ALWAYS speak highly of Claire. I do sometimes wonder if she has a go at him for how his career has changed or for them having to vlog/do the podcast to supplement income .

I know what you mean. She's gotten these kind of comments when she's in a 2xl looking oversized shirt with a messy bun and sweats so how much more will she get it in something form fitting. But the p*rn brain rot is spreading across all platforms no matter what you say or do, even if you cover head to toe or wear a hazmat suit, you'll still get a pervy comment, but I wonder how she feels about those kinds, she obv doesn't mind that much.

What a shock,no vlog because James has been busy doing 'actor stuff'. I think this will happen more now they post the podcast video which is very Ad heavy,why post vlogs and not earn when they can fill an hour long pod cast with Ads every five minutes

I totally agree, unfortunately her saying she didn’t want a real job on a public platform when she was younger has came back to haunt her now she married someone famous (after DM’ing him initially on Twitter!) I loved the vlogs with their neighbours too, they were such a down to earth couple and genuine friends, I’m not really bothered about seeing them hang out with Joe Sugg!

Strange Clair says how busy she is,yet posts endlessly on IG of her at home sat drinking beer or cups of tea,or out with her,'friends',clearly not that busy, probably doesn't want the intrusion of vlogging but wants all the freebies that come with it.

Yeah I agree, think they only uploaded for the Hello Fresh ad and to mention the Chieftains jersey. Same as last time they uploaded it was to sell tickets.

I finally watched it and you all are exactly right. Not that I was expecting a genuine comeback to the vlogs anyways but that was even more disappointing than I thought. Every time they come back, it gets further away from the heart of the earlier videos. :/
Clair posted a comment where she replied to someone saying the vlogs were coming back but it looks like she just meant coming back sporadically when they need to keep up a contractual obligation.

I also don’t even understand why they’re doing the podcast, financially I mean. Because you need to rent that studio, pay people to help, not to mention the film crew, etc so they almost need more income to keep that going it would seem, when the majority of viewers thought the bread and butter was just their genuine vlogs.

Im starting to wonder if their management team is telling James to play to the camera and be over the top. It seems since the vlog just before Christmas when they apologised for the VW vlog/Ad,James appears much more full on,Claire doesn't seem much different. These last two vlogs he's been so irritating and loud.
