What is her solo podcast about? I don't understand what she might have to talk about on a regular basis, it already seems like they pull teeth with their shared one!She was on Radio X this morning advertising her new podcast, which is nothing new to the million other podcasts like it, and then another article about them in the Fail, they are getting about a bit!
I noticed that but wasn't sure if they were old pictures from their trip last year. He definitely looks miserable in all his picturesJames has posted that he is in Florida
It seems more forced now than when they first started,I think Claire is more natural than James,he comes across as playing to the camera I know he's an actor, but surely he can just be himselfI think the problem is is she’s so over the top with it, a bit like her accent that it starts to come across as she’s just a bit of a bitch to him. I think they recently changed management and I’ve started to go off their content since
Fully agree again!!I totally agree with your comments about James,he plays a bit of a character because he feels safer, socially I think he can be very akward. As for Claire im not sure if shes burnt out or disappointed that life possibly isn't what she thought it would be, marrying a once successful actor. James has openly admitted to turning down lots of job offers when the kids were smaller but now the offers arent as regular as he'd like. Even when hes at home and not working he tends to sit around waiting for Claire to do everything,. I remember an old interview with Claire, before she was with James, when she was glamour modelling, she had said her intention was to marry someone with money so she didn't need to work. I wonder if shed envisaged her life as it is. Shes a good mum but she often seems frustrated/irritated with James, comments about his lack of work. I think Claire spends so much time cleaning as a coping mechanism.
I know safety is paramount. But isn't he too big for that?. He's like a big baby. Why is their 13 year old secondary school son sitting in a child’s car seat?View attachment 3246794
Isn’t hoping the ads pay out but still spending especially with two kids in this economy akin to using credit cards and accounts? That feels really risky. It would these days for even a two income household.I was reading his net worth is supposedly £1.8 million, the other three lads from the Inbetweeners networths range from £4 million to £7.8 million. I think it highlights the different attitudes towards hard work. The way both he and Claire spend they need to rely on Ads and sponsorship because his prime acting days are long gone and no way is she going to do anything resembling work . Most people run homes as well as having jobs, but in Claires eyes it's one thing or the other. I suppose being married to such a lazy man must make her feel resentful
Hasn't james made the most money ever on cameo (I think that's what it's called) or is that just paper talk.I was reading his net worth is supposedly £1.8 million, the other three lads from the Inbetweeners networths range from £4 million to £7.8 million. Id also assumed it was because of the football, but as you mentioned it had been posted before the result, seems oddwhy the broken heart next to Jude's post?
You make some really good points yo be honest. I dont understand how Claire feels fulfilled relying on James to provide financially, knowing how lazy he is in the home, with the kids and even when it comes to his career. It's not just about paying bills,it's about feeling fulfilled as an individual, do often she says how boring her life is. I've been watching some of their older vlogs and James can come across as very selfish, leaves her to take the boys out so he can sleep. One afternoon she was meeting up with Jo Dyer, he did everything to try and get her to cancel and stay at home with him. Claire can actually do do much more than him, probably only needs him financially but is capable of earning her own money but chooses to rely on a lazy man. I love being at home, idolise my sons but Im so glad i never gave up my career, never relied on a man for money or to pay bills. When I look at them I definitely wouldn't say they are ,'couples goals',he loves his social life with his mates, slerping all day after heavy drinking sessions and being centre of attention, shes basically a live in housekeeper/nannyDid wonder this, if they thought he had a chance at making it really big in the height of inbetweeners fame, but then got married and had 2 kids back to back at 24. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but if I had the chance of being a movie star I may have waited a couple of years haha.
They do like to project themselves as being cool but they have lived a pretty sheltered life, settled down very early, don’t really travel the world etc. they just skipped the ‘20’s and free’ stage. Don’t know if maybe they now have FOMO so overjustify being ‘homebodies’. I mean, sure, I’m in my 30’s too and love a takeout and movie while the kids are in bed. But I didn’t so much in my early 20’s, had to get ‘party’ out my system, and I didn’t even have the chance of getting into celeb parties. She really locked it down fast “accidentally”, “twice”, and put a stop to all that.
