I was reading his net worth is supposedly £1.8 million,the other three lads from the Inbetweeners networths range from £4 million to £7.8 million. I think it highlights the different attitudes towards hard work. The way both he and Claire spend they need to rely on Ads and sponsorship because his prime acting days are long gone and no way is she going to do anything resembling work . Most people run homes as well as having jobs,but in Claires eyes it's one thing or the other. I suppose being married to such a lazy man must make her feel resentful

Isn’t hoping the ads pay out but still spending especially with two kids in this economy akin to using credit cards and accounts? That feels really risky. It would these days for even a two income household.

I watched their vlogs when they first started and enjoyed them but then they kept adding too many ad breaks and got annoying, so I stopped watching but I still read the rave thread and noticed this one was mentioned.

I know Claire was some sort of glamour model when they first met but has she ever worked since getting with James? Agree she always seems annoyed by him. I imagine she enjoys the lifestyle though so I doubt she’d leave him.

I like that they don’t show their kids but I always found it strange their kids have a Scottish accent ?! I have a different accent to my kids but they just speak in the accent of where we live.

Did wonder this, if they thought he had a chance at making it really big in the height of inbetweeners fame, but then got married and had 2 kids back to back at 24. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but if I had the chance of being a movie star I may have waited a couple of years haha.
They do like to project themselves as being cool but they have lived a pretty sheltered life, settled down very early, don’t really travel the world etc. they just skipped the ‘20’s and free’ stage. Don’t know if maybe they now have FOMO so overjustify being ‘homebodies’. I mean, sure, I’m in my 30’s too and love a takeout and movie while the kids are in bed. But I didn’t so much in my early 20’s, had to get ‘party’ out my system, and I didn’t even have the chance of getting into celeb parties. She really locked it down fast “accidentally”, “twice”, and put a stop to all that.

You make some really good points yo be honest. I dont understand how Claire feels fulfilled relying on James to provide financially, knowing how lazy he is in the home,with the kids and even when it comes to his career. It's not just about paying bills,it's about feeling fulfilled as an individual, do often she says how boring her life is. I've been watching some of their older vlogs and James can come across as very selfish,leaves her to take the boys out so he can sleep. One afternoon she was meeting up with Jo Dyer, he did everything to try and get her to cancel and stay at home with him. Claire can actually do do much more than him, probably only needs him financially but is capable of earning her own money but chooses to rely on a lazy man. I love being at home,idolise my sons but Im so glad i never gave up my career, never relied on a man for money or to pay bills. When I look at them I definitely wouldn't say they are ,'couples goals',he loves his social life with his mates, slerping all day after heavy drinking sessions and being centre of attention,shes basically a live in housekeeper/nanny

oh mygosh.... is that actually where that link they posted the other day takes you to?... that is dismal and disappointing.

They probably had a contract to fulfil so many Ads they've done nothing for months and sporadic half hearted vlogs for months before that. James wants easy money from Ads,but if companies like Hello Fresh, who work with absolutely anyone,start to back out, no one will work with them. Their management team know James ony gets sporadic acting work, nothing major anymore,Claire loves spending money but thinks it's his place to provide financially, so they need all the sponsorship they can get, but they need to start being more transparent. Both of them have shown thoussnds of ppunds worth of gifted items on IG,but rarely declare them. I dont begrudge anyone earning money or receiving gifted items but at least be honest,declare everything and put some effort into your content, stop being so entitled . I believe once the boys are older,Claire will leave him for someone wealthier. When she was a glamour model,she said her goal was to marry someone rich enough that she wouldn't work

Like why do other people feel the need to comment on other people's children's appearance, we're all well aware about fat shaming and skinny shaming etc yet people think they have free reign to comment on other people's childrens appearances. I think long hair is gorgeous on boys and girls and I think short hair is gorgeous on girls and boys,and I think the most gorgeous is a child loving how they look without interfering old cunts commenting 🫠

If she never showed her boys hair or spoke about her boys life, we wouldn't

She showed a glimpse of his hair and you assumed it's long because she wanted a girl it's unhinged and I genuinely pity your kids/future kids if that's how your brain works it's genuinely concerning that an adult thinks that way.
