The vlogs were fun when it wasn't about monetising them!

Totally agree,but I think James is quite tight fisted,but enjoys the trappings of fame he's possibly quite lazy as well. In his eyes he thinks doing a play for a few months is the same as any other dad working a full time job. He previously mentioned when the boys were babies he turned down lots of work because he didn't want to miss out on being with his boys, but the vlogs highlighted how often he'd either be sleeping off a hangover or doing his own thing while Clair would take the boys out. Maybe he saw an excuse to turn down work. We all need to earn a living to support ourselves or our families,but in his line of work he has a very limited time to do that especially when he isn't on tv or performing.

Pretty sure they use sets for some of the celebs 'homes' not all but some of the back drops can look very fake some just don't want all the rigging for sound and lighting taking up half room apparently but knowing James he's probably just gate crashed poor Jon's house.

I suppose when they have kids you can't have filming crews wandering round the house

Has anyone else been watching the podcast on youtube,it definitely highlights how ignorant James is,constantly talking over Clare. I think it irritates him that she's so popular,he sees himself as the celebrity and shes his wife. The reality is,she's more likeable than him

Lazy Claire CBA vlogging this week I see

That’s pretty normal. My friend is American but lives in Scotland and both her kids, who have lived here since birth, have American accents despite going to a Glasgow school.

It doesn’t seem normal to me, when my kids don’t have mine and my husbands accent. We’re both from the same place too so my kids had double the exposure to our accent! Also, how come they picked up Clair’s accent and not James’ plus living in the south?!

I looked her up when I first started watching them and found this (won’t let me link article).

She seems to Aff link everything, also not sure why she had so much cleavage on show advertising the Philips airfryer,because usually home she wears oversized joggers t shirts and jumpers. You can see shes had her lips done again. Just imagine if he had regular acting work,rather than occasional jobs,she may spend less time posting for the pervs

2 weeks no vlogs,appears they only vlog if they have a sponsor. Both of them pushing the podcast,which will probably fizzle out like the last one.

Have they ever mentioned the topless photos shoots she’s done in the past? Or how she feels about those pictures being on the internet? I wondered how she feels about it now, regrets or proud, she has amazing great body so why not. Just never heard them mention it, vlog or podcast unless I missed it.

I think the problem is is she’s so over the top with it, a bit like her accent that it starts to come across as she’s just a bit of a bitch to him. I think they recently changed management and I’ve started to go off their content since

It seems more forced now than when they first started,I think Claire is more natural than James,he comes across as playing to the camera I know he's an actor,but surely he can just be himself

Probably one of their laziest publicity stunts. Why bother vlogging or getting off their backsides to advertise their channel, just let gullable subscribers who genuinely don't see how little interest James and Clair have. They're expecting followers to provide content for the podcast and now publicise their social media and podcast for them. #Grifters

I totally agree with your comments about James,he plays a bit of a character because he feels safer,socially I think he can be very akward. As for Claire im not sure if shes burnt out or disappointed that life possibly isn't what she thought it would be, marrying a once successful actor. James has openly admitted to turning down lots of job offers when the kids were smaller but now the offers arent as regular as he'd like. Even when hes at home and not working he tends to sit around waiting for Claire to do everything,. I remember an old interview with Claire,before she was with James,when she was glamour modelling, she had said her intention was to marry someone with money so she didn't need to work. I wonder if shed envisaged her life as it is. Shes a good mum but she often seems frustrated/irritated with James,comments about his lack of work. I think Claire spends so much time cleaning as a coping mechanism.

I wonder if he feels out of his heyday and along with being out of the bigger roles for so long that his anxiety won't really let him.
I have seen some of her photo scans from old mags and excerpts here and there but I didn't know she'd said that.
Yeah he does definitely wait on her to do much, like he doesn't know what to do if she has a day out, maybe he plays that up for the camera, but I get what you're saying.
She stays on top of the cleaning that's for sure, I'm always thinking I need to take a page out of her book on that, but I'd go rather crazy just living the same life not outside the home. When the boys get older and closer to leaving, that'll be interesting what they do then.

What I really wonder is what would Clair do if she could do anything, career or personal-goal wise. Surely she has aspirations outside of this, at least I'm just putting myself in her place and I def would
