I think Jeffree really had something to say, however after realising james had the guts to speak out, he decided to sweep the whole situation under the carpet. I read that james wanted to make a documentary exposing the beauty community as a whole so all the shit would come out and that would destroy all of them. I don’t buy tati’s let’s preach love either. They saw how fast they could lose everything and decided to put off the entire drama for another time.

Same. I don't buy Tati - saying James was unreachable. Everything about her is so try hard and carefully planned - like the jefree star products very visible in the background and not mentioning the vitmans to deflect. Just trying to get everyone on board with the nice girl Tati image.

She did this ultimately to sell more of her vitamins, she saw a good chance to make millions with a video she knew would get the views.

She got to help James after he had secured the huge covergirl campaign. So she might have helped with contracts but could it be more down to latching onto someone young and upcoming?

Halo beautys Google searches have absolutely exploded. Easily could have made tens of millions of new people hooked on them giving her $500 a year for pills that cost pennies to make.

Am I the only one who doesn't think his behaviour deserves the sexual predator label? I've seen the waiter's video (admittedly not tati's) and I'm missing the part where he was pressuring him? If I'm victim blaming please correct me,
I don't think Shane/Ryland telling him to stop going for straight men was them telling him it was wrong but that james would end up with hurt feelings.

I remember seeing a comment like that made about when Shane flew that little girl singer to him and gave her a few videos and tried to promote her channel. I can see how peoples mind would go there in these days which is the real sad thing.
Everyone's so fast to scream out 'you're a perv' or 'that's sexist' whenever someone does something nice. The world is so sensitive guys won't even do something as simple as hold a door open for a girl incase it's taken as some kind of sexist or anti-feminist remark.
There are so many nice people out there who have no other motive than to just do the right thing, and I genuinely believe Tati just saw a young guy with a dream she could help so did.

Agree, I like Tati but I don’t agree with her going into an industry she knows nothing about.
I think the contract was that he promoted them on his social media but I don’t think he received payment either, just “security”,
But he also lied about what these sweets would do. After saying he wouldn’t promote her vitamins to his audience [emoji3064]

I was just wondering why he declared it as an ad and refused to say Tati vitamin brand by name. If it wasn't cold hard cash it was something more than just "security" to me.

He was shady to say all these miracles of SBH after a week of taking them. Like bitch? Lol.

Agree @DirtyLaundry its like using a generic drug/pharmaceutical drug vrs a brand name drug.

I only have my niece to talk to about this irl, just the edited version. I watched 5 mins of Jeffree Star's latest and 5 mins of James Charles. Jeez they all waffle so much without ever getting to the point - Tati included. The whole thing could be covered in a few minutes but oh no waffle waffle blah blah 'just to explain the situation again' 'I will get to those points later' 'I'm so hurt and in a dark place and love you guys'- lots of hand waving - for 40 minutes??? They love themselves so much and take it all so painfully seriously. All the while getting massive views. Bizarre.

Yep they stopped production of the cheaper pallet as it was very very similar to the James one.

I don't think Tati has had enough of a backlash against her vitamins. Beauty vitamins aren't anything new - I remember at school 20 years ago people were taking them. There's nothing ground breaking or even proven in her vitamins. They might help some people that are deficient in some things, but no more than eating a good diet or vitamins that are 90% cheaper. It's impossible to go on the tube with out seeing a dozen adverts for vitabiotics - they're cheap to make with a huge markup. They might work as the placebo effect is strong and if people are paying $40 a month for several months might make other lifestyle changes if investing in them.

Shame on Shane Dawson for promoting her vitamins (even if it was just a friend favour). He hasn't got a healthy relationship with food and sends out a bad message to buy an expensive magic pill rather than improve your diet.

Just waiting for a new James video, the last apology was so awful he has to do a proper one.

I’m not happy about her vitamins /snake oils either. It’s just another way to milk subscribers for their hard earned cash. People would be much better off taking fish oil and eating well to improve their skin/hair/nails but unfortunately a lot of people don’t want to do any work, they’re “happy” to be duped by a magic pill instead of chucking down a salad.
