Yes, he has a sister and took Lydia as his plus one to her wedding last year.
I do think his relationship with GC was pretty toxic. They seemed to bring out the worst in each other. So probably for the best they split.
He has done well to lose the weight but the real test will be keeping it off and tackling his demons when it comes to addiction.
I could actually see him and Lydia back together at some point. Her family seem to have a soft spot for him so would probably approve.

The reason his relationship with GC was toxic was because he didn't really love her and she knew it. When you're second best you never feel secure. He didn't ever try to hide that he wanted Lydia more either! GC was stupid for even bothering with him in the first place, but it seems to be a theme with these girls. Wanting men who will never truly love them.
