Imagine a stressful day being getting your nails done, packing for a holiday and a pot of cream leaking in the fridge she hasn’t a fucking clue what an average persons actual daily stress is I actually laughed out loud at that story then realised she was being serious. I don't think your being very fair here as a general comment on anxiety. People deal with it very differently at different stages of their lives and not everyone is open to take medicine for something that's not really affected them before. I say this from experience as I would drive 10miles to go for a food shop just to get too anxious to even get out of the car so I would just drive back home. This was in the height of my anxiety. I'm fine now but it's taken quite some time to be 'normal' again. Everyone is chemically balanced in different ways.
Carys' mother is a GP as many people have pointed out, I genuinely question how good of a GP she may be with the amount of medical questions Carys has asked in the past.

If Carys has anxiety to a level that is affecting her day to day life then she should seek help. Not meds, no one said meds but cbt or other options are available. Coping methods can be taught.
The attitude that it’s ok to suffer is exactly why mental health isn’t taken seriously and I think it’s really sad that’s it’s people who have suffered themselves that are perpetuating this.
Carys had issues with incontinence after giving birth that affected her day to day so she saw an gyno/pelvic specialist. She had a bad back so she went to an osteopath. James doesn’t even have a bad back but he’s now gone to see the same person after seeing the benefit for Carys. She does all this for things that are a physically affect her yet she seems to think it’s fine so suffer with debilitating anxiety year in, year out, and not seek help… and you only have to look as far as this thread to see why.

Mental health issues that affect your life should be taken as seriously and addressed as frequently as a physical issue. I don’t see why that’s in debate.

Hello my little trolls, remember that we are all sad and unhappy with our lives to be on here trolling (look up the definition of trolling Carys).
I would argue that never having a real job, dropping out of uni to run a YT channel, then dropping that channel to run a failing vlogging channel with my sponging husband who's never worked a day in his life, and then only uploading the dullest videos weekly that are the same thing day in day out is arguably a more sad existence.
I'd also say that being incapable of being apart from my husband, even in separate rooms OR having a child for content and then not actually parenting, just shrieking at her, taking pictures for the gram and having a meltdown if she doesn't nap 24/7 OR posting up naked pictures holding your baby when you are WELL AWARE of a porn style Reddit page dedicated to you OR lying about restricting your diet previously because you can't cope with that fact you've gone up 5 dress sizes... are actual signs of the fact that everything isn't all sunshine and rainbows in YOUR life. Carys is clearly a deeply insecure and unhappy woman who thinks that something new and shiny will make her happy, hence constantly buying crap, constant room 'transformations', a new baby, a new car and now a new house same shit different day.
ETA James is just as bad, he completely enables Carys ridiculous behaviour online and has made her completely dependent on her. Any normal father or husband would oppose the amount she shares Amber online, and would recognise it's not healthy for his wife to not be apart from him and suggest she seeks help. But then a normal father or husband would actually get a job to support his family.

Yeah I struggle doing a food shop mainly because my shop is so small. I tend to forget to pick up what I need because I feel so anxious and just want to get out of there.

You’re clearly taking it personally instead if reading it properly, I’m not “basically saying anyone whos a mum and gets anxious doing a food shop, needs help” - if I meant that, I’d have said that.
“Can’t cope” - can you cope? It sounds like you can. If you can’t cope doing a shop alone then that’s impacting your life and limiting your abilities to perform day to day tasks. In that case then yes, you should seek help and if you don’t then that’s down to you but it will very likely affect your child in the long run. You can get upset over that but it doesn’t change the reality of it.
