I'm watching That Man now. He's undeniably a bit of a twat but an extremely soothing, confident twat. Just watching a calm, reassuring man make pasta is what I need right now.

Also, he's just making food with stuff you probably do have but not that necessarily cost 50p to make.
exactly, i think that's the whole point, people would prefer a well known face with no strong (i think, outsidd of food anyway, political etc views) at this time

Who would honestly take an 8 year old child to an abattoir? Did this actually happen? Do they do guided tours?
Not to the best of my knowledge. A friend of mine is a butcher and he's been on a couple of guided abbatoir tours. With a small group of other butchers.
I don't know any abbatoir that would welcome in an 8 year old child and his nutjob mother.
For health and safety reasons alone, if nothing else.

For someone who's always hankering on about inequality and privilege she's a bit tone deaf with her comment about only getting 8 pounds an hour. She gets paid into her business account and only takes a living wage of 8 pounds per hour out of it weekly. Not quite the same thing 🤔🙄
And as if that all isn’t after money has been put aside for tax etc.

Not to mention £8/hr doesn’t need to stretch as far when you are being sent free stuff all the time.

She's a dick for many reasons but its far easier to get fresh food in the shops than store cupboard foods - her advice is moot for many people who were able to buy tins, dried pasta, rice etc.
Exactly. The thing she apparently was having a go at Jamie for. Not everybody is going to have everything.

Her son’s birthday ‘cake’ but the most important thing was being front and centre as soon as the candles were lit to take a photo for her twitter? Who does that other than the most voracious influencers? And using her crusade hashtag in the tweet. Sorry did someone say something once about people exploiting their children for personal gain....
Exactly, those sparklers go down in seconds the camera came first while the kid was pushed to the side, if even there at all. The "cake" was made for her to get more of the attention she craves.

Supermarket aren't just full of cakes they're being sold off 80% reduced with the surplus.

She is one of the worst attention seekers on social media. Don't fucking mention your diagnosis then if you don't want to talk about it!
This reminds me of the old school Facebook sad-fishers who would post vague things all the time.

Working 20 hours a day is ridiculous. She is trying to show she's the most hardworking, productive person ever. When in reality she's the complete opposite.

I really wonder if she will be as "woe is me" on TV as she is on twitter? If so I don't think that is the content anyone wants to see, things are negative enough for so many people what most people want is positivity/escapism
Exactly, we are all struggling at this time, these are unprecedented times for everyone across the world, her woe is me attitude will not and should not fly

I know - 'give it a sniff or a nibble and if it smells/tastes ok then it's fine'! Thank goodness we have an 'expert' to give us such advice. I'll give her a 'tip' via Paypal ……….......………………………………………..what is wrong with people?
I haven't seen this latest nugget of advice from her, but someone should tell her that the bacteria that causes Botulism (you know, that thing that paralyses and kills you) has no taste or smell... 🤔

So there's the many illnesses, disabilities, ethnic origins, sexualities and gender identities, I predict religion will be next. A conversion to Islam.

Surely if she really cared about the healthy eating on a budget cause she would be happy people will be getting affordable recipes whoever demonstrates them? Maybe a little privately disappointed but glad for the greater good. She's such a charlatan.
Exactly! Aren't we all in this together? She is verging on profiteering.

I never used to mind her, even got a couple of her books. That started to change when I followed her more on social media. I find her attitude and snappy manner of communicating with people - even those who are supporting her and being nice, very unpleasant. I don't know where she gets off thinking that she can speak to people that way.

And her tantrums make her look like a surly, entitled brat. Especially this latest one. How dare she get uppety and spit her dummy out, as someone else was offered a job instead of her.
She is in no way professional, and I certainly wouldn't want to collaborate on anything with her with her bitching and complaining.

Certainly wouldn't to watch her on TV either, with that negativity she radiates. Nope, opinion changed.
Same here .... I used to be quite a supporter but the snappy behaviour and it was the RA and all the “poor me” posts that got me. There was lots of medical tests. Never heard any moe 🤷‍♀️

Sits at a desk 20 hours a day AND manages to do 26000 steps (assuming with the help of her walking stick of course😉)
Just shows what a nervous jumping bean she must be if that were true !!

I hadn't heard of her before but I looked her up on youtube and one of the first videos that shows up is her on Jamie Oliver's Food Tube channel? Sorry if this has been discussed already
