She makes my skin crawl, I don't understand how all these celebs are fawning over her on twitter, I am especially disappointed in Nigella, how has she managed to get all these people on side? If a man did what she was doing to Jamie, there would have been uproar 🤦🏻‍♀️
I think it is just clear none of them pay attention to her twitter tbh

There's a Scottish journalist who reminds me of her, anything around, she has to have it and 100x worse than everyone else.
A guess: V*nny Brav*? Frightened of writing her name clearly here and it becoming the subject of a dreary Twitter thread.

😭 this gonna be fun to watch.

What a fucking melon, all her shady shit towards Jamie Oliver paid off, let’s be honest her girlfriend works for the BBC and she got all the little celeb fan girl-ling round her, it’s not what you know it’s who you know. All the self isolation pleading poverty goes out the window and I can see this only being a short gig once they see what an awkward shit she is onscreen. Look how roasted she was on Twitter for a small 10 min gig on This Morning!

And now all the photo orders are in and the PayPal account has been topped up, she’s conveniently bunking off Twitter
And nicely topped up her monthly patreon donations. She could never be honest with her finances, she's very comfortable but still has to pretend she's the same as someone on universal credit.

Guilty here ✋ but it's a necessary evil. There are 2 main reasons:

1, It REALLY helps with google. If you have longer content you are likley to get higher in google so I am for 1000 words. Also the longer someone spends reading an article the higher up in google it goes as google sees the article as more useful. But you do have to balance it as if its too long people click back in seconds and it harms you in google. In my defense I do only write about the recipe and put up useful and interesting photos, you will never hear me going on about my dog, holiday in France or children or any total wordcrap that no one cares about! I try to make it useful and interesting for readers. I'm always going back and re-writing content or jigging things around to get the right balance. I've got a click to recipe button so people can skip all the blurb and go right to the recipe card.

2, So people scroll and get served a few adverts. My ad company tells you to aim for 8 adverts a mobile user. I know it sounds sketchy but I used to not do this and make a fraction of what I do and it is a full time job so I need to make at least a grand a month. Jack goes on about how she makes all her recipes for free, well we all do it's not special! You don't see recipes behind a paywall as its a struggle to get the traffic let alone charge for it. The longer content does get you more hits from google and more money, but I don't take the piss.

Doing blogging professionally does require a lot of work to research what will do well and how to get people to see it. Don't get me wrong I'm not comparing my job to a paramedic, but it's not a case of creating any old stuff and posting it. You have to really plan.

Vanity bloggers like Jack (and many others on social media) can just adapt any old recipe and post it up without much care and attention or work to promote it.

Thanks for the offers to share my blog that's really sweet, although I would prefer to be save with my anonymity. Covid-19 has really hit advertising rates on my blog - they are down significantly from last year and expected to keep falling lower. But that's fine, it happens and I've made a good living for the last few years for times like this so that my mortgage has been overpaid and I have savings so you won't hear me complain. I view every month I was able to make more money from a job I hated and be my own boss as a blessing. This kind of work by it's own nature is massively variable, you have to take the rough with the smooth. At any time google or pinterest could change their algorithm and half your income.
Wow, thanks for all the info, that's very informative and explains it! I guess I thought it was a trend or something but that makes so much sense now you've explained it.

Apparently she wasn’t sure either, the tweet was later deleted, she really is the white girl version of jameela jamil if you see the amount of stuff she claims she had happen to her, eye opening 😬
I know access to the operations trans people need is a nightmare, especially in a criminally underfunded NHS, but least they’re being safeguarded with right processes and the psychological testing they have to go through. Horrifying to think you can go and book in on a whim with a private surgeon and end up making irreversible changes to yourself. What would she have done? :/

If Jamie Oliver gets his recipes from Jack there is definitely more than enough reason to suspect Jack is getting her recipes from this Kay lass.
I don't want to sound snobby but that made me feel a bit ill. If anything Jack and her ilk are actually doing no favours to the message they're trying to spread. It's possible to make good food cheaply (something we've all learned in school) and well presented. Jack's dishes looks like slop and sound just about as appealing

She's going to go on air with a walking stick isn't she? It's going to be in shot resting on a worktop or chair somewhere within her reach or she will be a seated presenter because of her pain 😂😂 along with her epipens and probably just some giant medical bag with her name embroidered on it 😂😂
I really wonder if she will be as "woe is me" on TV as she is on twitter? If so I don't think that is the content anyone wants to see, things are negative enough for so many people what most people want is positivity/escapism

Forgive me if this is completely out of line but... I don't see any evidence of wrist cutting in any of the many many photos of her hands with bowls of food that she's posted.

Also she is quite difficult to watch and listen to. I find she makes me nervous.
Yes, she makes me feel the way I do when one if my sisters is cooking for us - I have to sit on my hands to stop myself taking over because she looks like she's on the verge of screaming and stabbing herself the whole time. With cooking shows I like to relax and enjoy them not feel wound up and on edge.

"Horrendous online bullying and unimaginable cruelty."

Jamie Oliver can probably relate to this Jack, maybe now you understand why we were so upset by what you did. I'm sorry she feels she's been bullied, I truly am.

exactly, i think that's the whole point, people would prefer a well known face with no strong (i think, outsidd of food anyway, political etc views) at this time
Yes, him, Delia, Nigella, Prue Leith, Mary Berry, Gordon Ramsey... any of the nice comforting TV chefs could have done it. I don't think it's so much about helping anyone as just making soothing television.

We should be helpful and screenshot as much as we can, to help remind her of things she has said, then deleted and forgotten about.. a helping hand to assist her in keeping track of her lies.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, I am up to date but might have missed it. I saw a few pages ago it was discussed whether she bought or rented. She replied to a follower the other day saying she rented.
