I saw the headline of that article but could not be bothered to read it. I often wondered about her son’s father. Jack wrote in the last year or so how she suffers from various health problems Inc Arthritis. Perhaps she should apply for PIP, or perhaps she already has DLA. I also used to wonder why, if she was so impoverished, that she could afford to get the amount of tattoos she has.

Didn’t she get the tattoos before having her son and having to quit her job because there were only night shifts available at her old work? Pretty sure that’s what I read anyway.

Jack is such a vile person. Her obsession with Jamie Oliver being a millionaire, despite him being a TV chef since the 90s when she was still in school and him being a household name.

Asking for donations is also despicable considering how much her partner earns. I doubt Jack is on the breadline, even if she experienced a loss of earnings during this time.

I don't know anything about her partner, but am pretty sure Jack can't get a mortgage. She's doing well enough financially but she doesn't have an actual job to prove any regular earnings/income so it must be hard to get approved for a mortgage.

Surely her partner alone would be enough to get then a mortgage seeing as she's in the top 5% of earners?

I think anyone who lived during WW2 and had to make meals out of very limited ingredients might like to tap Jack on the shoulder and say "actually, WE did cooking on a bootstrap before you came along." I.e. the whole population of Britain. The cooking on a budget with store cupboard goods is a good thing to promote but the way Jack goes about it like she is a martyr is laughable. She clearly has a vendetta against Jamie. She should contact him directly to air her grievance privately rather than bully him online. Petty silly nonsense which I am sad to see the Blue Tickers lap up. Their attention to her just fuels the fire. I think she is becoming more desperate and angry and it does not look professional.

I wonder what Margerite Patton thinks of Jack’s claims to have invented cooking on a budget with restricted ingredients!

Who is her partner? Is she on twitter? I can't imagine they will actually get married or if they do I can't see it lasting long, Jack likes to play victim far too much to have a "happy ending"

This is her. She has a name of her own. Even though Jack just refers to her as Mrs J Their relationship sounds pretty messed up, although it's difficult to know what to believe when Jack is talking. She definitely makes it sound like there are power and control issues, lots of talk about "being allowed" to do things and permissions. Sounds fucked up to me.

I like some of her recipes and have enjoyed and learned a few things from some of the old videos on YouTube , what I can't stand is the be kind narrative then encouraging a pile on to Mr Oliver and sympathy her way at the same time , in fact that's what im disappointed in the most the constant call for how hard done by she is in every aspect of her life. I suspect it can become quite addictive and the need for praise like a drug she can't go without

So her girlfriend head of news at Channel 4 and cannot afford a mortgage? Jack’s been pleading poverty the last two weeks but forgets to mention that her fiancé is on a good wage herself to support them through this.

And she happy to luvie up to other millionaires chefs and celebs but has taken issue with Jamie Oliver a well known established chef because Channel 4 gave him a show and not her why according to her she just a cook, bizzare logic.

I guess it makes sense now why she being a snake to Jamie Oliver, I wouldn’t be surprised if her idea of a cooking show was being pimped to C4 as she has the connections but they went with Jamie as they have a long working relationship with him and that’s why she acting like brat about it.

I recall her being in the papers years ago around the time of the recession or thereabouts and thought her recipe ideas for eating frugally were a great help, ya know , a single Mum living on a tight budget helping others eat as well as possible.

I’ve not ever followed her but would it be true to say she’s from a well off family and exploited poor people and their hardship to make money?

I wouldn't say (from the little I know) her family were well off. Just averagely comfortable where if your daughter was starving and freezing, you could buy her some pasta and pay a gas bill.

I'm watching That Man now. He's undeniably a bit of a twat but an extremely soothing, confident twat. Just watching a calm, reassuring man make pasta is what I need right now.

Also, he's just making food with stuff you probably do have but not that necessarily cost 50p to make.
