I'm tempted to watch Jamie on it next week to boost the ratings. Surely he will tell the production team who sent abuse his way. Yes he has been smug in the past etc but all he has done is accept a job. That screenshot prompted me to look at his Instagram post. Didn't realise it's a 5 times a week show starting Monday. She's admitted how long it takes for her to do 6 minutes on This Morning, of course they're going to pick the pro who has presented for years. I would prefer a more diverse casting for the job (most telly chefs are white men) but given the turnaround picking the person they can drop in at short notice makes sense.
That would make my day!If only Jamie Oliver was as unprofessional and gross as her. Would love to see him tweet "No, I wouldn't work alongside you. You are a volatile, talentless arsehole and have purposely made my life difficult because you're jealous of my job. Now fuck off."
I bet Wilkos are shitting themselves.Translation: she bulk buys her picture frames from Wilko.
And it's not 'sugar free' either. Bananas like most fruits have naturally occurring sugars. Try telling that to her though. You'd probably get your eyes scratched out!Oh I'd never checked out her instagram before. This made me laugh her going on and on about what's probably just frozen bananas and blackcurrants blended. She makes it sound as if her job as as hard as neuroscience.
Banana nicecream was a big thing 5+ years ago, it's been done to death.

unfortunately a lot of true colours coming out over the next weeks and months. JM should make a stink about this but as it doesn’t directly gain her sympathy or dollar I doubt she will.* Off topic but chef related.
Guys I'm gutted. The formerly lovely Rick Stein is refusing to pay his laid off workers. I am so surprised and disappointed in him.
But she had the same level of assumption as Jamie did - where is the difference?Just gonna leave this here
Watched a couple of the programmes after reading this thread, have to admit I did like the green sauce and pasta recipe, going to try it today. I was never a fan of his but Ms Monroe's spiteful attitude has made me want to give him another chanceI quite enjoyed yesterday’s programme where he made quesadillas. He pronounced them casadillas.![]()
Most recipes are just recycled but the fact that she considers sardines on toast to be "A Recipe" and worthy of a newspaper column is insane. I don't even think I'm cooking when I make stuff on toast because there's no skill or thought involved. Thank God we have Jack to save us from the Corona, one can of sardines or spaghetti hoops at a time.Just noticed this - the sugar content is different and yes she’s added some cardamon but the oil, self raising flour, cinnamon and banana measurements are the same. At the bottom of page, Jack states you can “tip the chef” if you want to, which takes you to her PayPal. But, she’s allowed ads on her blog - so she must be making a small fortune especially with everything going on at the moment. Un freaking believable.![]()
She does delete lot of stuff on twitter, but not until hoards of her little sheep have made equally unpleasant comments in support of her and against who she's decided to troll on that occasion. She deletes so many tweets. I read one last week about Jamie Oliver owning a huge multimillion pound house in London while she’s stuck renting a “shabby bungalow”. Went back later and couldn’t see it.
So weird to focus on what others have that you don’t in that petulant way. It’s not healthy. Maybe Jamie Oliver prioritised buying his first property over splurging on Burberry leather jackets and three different bottles of Penhaligon’s perfume on the go at once? It’s also judgmental about renting. Does she think it’s beneath her?
Exactly this. I follow a TV producer on Twitter who said the thing about Jamie is that he knows what’s he’s doing. He can nail it one take and can film three or four shows back to back. Jack’s a novice. There’s no way she could do that. It would have taken days, if not weeks, and required a studio etc.Another theory about this whole cooking show; Jamie Oliver has a huge kitchen in his house and knows how to present cooking shows. He won’t need much direction and isnt it love, they need some one really experienced. So they can probably film with minimum crew, I imagine they could probably even set up cameras and he does it himself?
He also appeals to a find range of people, everybody isn’t suddenly just eating from tins. There will be people who normally eat out that are cooking at home.
If she is so desperate to hel, like really help and not just make money from this situation, then she should simply use her tins and receipts and get on you tube without all the twitter ranting.
