It’s almost like she’s still trying to plead poverty even when she’s now probably quite wealthy
Yes “earning” £8/ph out of CHOICE is not the same as having no other option, in fact it’s a very privileged thing to be able to do. Sure it’s probably a smart decision to prevent indulgent spending and remind yourself of the value of money, but you have more money to fall back on too, removing the crippling worry of not being able to pay rent, buy food etc that is the marker of poverty. It is insanely offensive and out of touch that she would suggest otherwise, especially considering where she came from.

If she's claiming to be crippled with arthritis and needs a stick...
Seems odd that on International Women's Day she shared a photo of her public speaking, giving a speech stood on tiptoes throughout. Boasted that she has done it this way for years as can do it for 12 minutes... Strange that 🤔

So out of all the accusations here the one she picks up on is a vague one about knowing her family.😆

How can she talk about owning her own actions with how much she deletes her tweets and refuses to accept the nasty campaign she launched against Jamie Oliver?

I was reading through some comments on the post of her in the mask on Instagram and this comment for some reason had me laughing like out loud, I've no idea why I find it so funny but the idea that someone borrowed her book from the library rather than buying it just tickled me.... Clearly isolation is getting to me 😂😂

Just catching up on this thread! I've never really warmed to 'Jack' and hearing her/him on happy mum happy baby with Giovanna Fletcher she just came across really rude, also going back to her 'skint' days, surely you wouldn't let your child go hungry just because of 'pride' when you've got your greek parents up the road who would definitely help you out - I just don't buy it! Greek people would never let anyone go hungry, they would practically force the food down your throat! (In a nice way)!

I used to like Jack a lot, have some of her books. What turned me off was the spaghetti hoops into gourmet. Poor people do not have enough to be wasting a tin of tomatoes making a sauce for hoops that come with a sauce, that could potentially be two meals.

Be Kind, the number one saying for self narcissistic beings who are anything but.

She and her minions waged a subtle harassment campaign toward Jamie Oliver because she got in a strop for not getting a tv show and only stop now she was offered some TV work, jokes.

And you knew it wouldn’t be long before she start using this place as material for her next sympathy smash and grab on social media.

2008 Telegraph article on how Nigella is a fan of canned goods including fruit for puddings.
Delia Smith's cheating at cooking book. Published way before Jack was ever relevant.

Sorry Jack, we know you didn't invent the tin, love

Is she flogging these for a tenner each? Just how many are stacked up there? £000s worth??
£10 + £3 p&p but she's doing this to heal a hole in her heart 😆

She's possibly made the yearly living wage several times over with the big stack of photos she keeps showing

Not wanting to go to off topic and into such serious issues at that, but surely, ideally it should be on a case by case basis. The harm to the child caused by staying weighed against the harm inflicted by leaving. I am sorry to hear you went through something so awful, I can't imagine how hard that would be as a child, and to come to terms with as an adult.
But the other thing in this case is, it's Jack we are talking about. I would never usually say it about someone, but she is an exception. Are we even convinced she ever was suicidal - especially to the point of actually attempting it?
You know the more I read on here and get reminded of bits and pieces she's come out with in the past, coupled with her personality and how she conducts herself - I'm not so sure I'm convinced of anything she's ever said.

She's constantly in arguments that no one is making other than herself. She says she's fought hard for people to not think they have to use arborio rice for a risotto. But she's also tweeted that arborio rice is best for a risotto to make it creamy.

We all know you can use less expensive ingredients. I made a cake with a teaspoon of 69p Lidl vanilla extract because I can't justify buying vanilla pods. She expects praise on her doorstep for replying to a basic argument that she instigated.

Just makes me think she lives in a make believe bubble.

We're in almost war time efforts, no one is taking about what varietys of wheat or rice to cook with, other than jack.
I am currently uploading the "wartime kitchen and garden" from the 80's to my youtube. It is a lovely show, that is a 6 parter from the BBC about how people did rationing, cooking and growing during WW2. I downloaded it years ago but it has never been released on dvd or digital by BBC. If you want to watch it just DM me and I'll link you as I'm not making it public, not that I do anything on my youtube anyway.
I love it as it reminds me of my late Dad who always was a proper gardener, although he was only about 8 at the end of the war.
The stuff they cooked during rationing was real food and not fucking spaghetti hoops and coconut milk mixed together. Chucking random tins together is not a recipe like fucking Jack thinks.

Just because you are on low income doesn't mean you need to eat revolting combinations. Spaghetti hoops and coconut nut milk? Just no. Have spaghetti on toast for dinner FFS then use the coconut milk for something else like a bowl of chickpea curry.

She did something disgusting with tinned sardines too.

View attachment 100132Forgive me if this is completely out of line but... I don't see any evidence of wrist cutting in any of the many many photos of her hands with bowls of food that she's posted.
I know I've mentioned this previously but does anyone find her "hand holding her dishes" pictures really off putting? I always think her hands just look so dirty!!

That affiliate link is so surprising, not that she’s done one necessarily but that it’s undeclared. I really rate her and her recipes, I’m quite disappointed.
Once you look beyond the image she projects it's not that surprising she doesn't declare affiliate links and goes out of her way to mislead that she isn't getting paid for them.

She's breaking both Amazon's and UK rules.

If you rate the recipes, that's because she only stole the best ones from blogs.

6 days ago she posted she was immunocompromised and couldn't leave the house.
All immunocompromised people recieved letters saying not to leave the house for 12 weeks.
But now its ok for her to go out??
She's such a fucking liar.

Also not only go out, but I assume now she’ll be recording a show daily with a team of people? Commuting from South End for 2+ hours into London twice a day...?

I’m only meant to social distance for 12 weeks but we’ve decided to isolate as we don’t trust everyone is taking this seriously, we don’t even go out for walks we use our garden. If any of us were immunocompromised there is no way in hell we’d ever open the front door?!!
