Oh so it's Tumour Jack now is it? Is this what the Friendly Oncologist Chat was about? duck off you head, you're shamelessly scraping the barrel for reasons people shouldn't attack you.
She's reacting to a post which contained this picture as well as the 'friendly oncologist' tweet -

Because apparently it's OK to cosplay someone having chemo if you are waiting for test results. And it's none of anyone's business that she shared this photo with all of twitter.

Sorry fraus, but I'm bleeping furious. My sister is dying in her mid 40s and this clown is using a cancer cosplay as a squirrel to distract from legitimate questions about her finances? duck her and everyone who enables her. She deserves everything that is coming to her, I hope Private Eye take her to the cleaners.

I wonder how this is going down with Nigella, given her own tragic family history with cancer and her well publicised remarks on the subject? Maybe it is aimed at getting her back on side. I'd put literally nothing past this ghoul.

So blimmin cross about the performative shop of crappy cheap food and she wants a round of applause / lucrative association with Asda. When I go shopping I have a whole week plan for what is needed, I’m not just determined to
style out two baskets of yellow packed rit. Also…going at the time of day she did was def not the time that you can find the ooops stickers and can bag some great stuff. I’ve not been shopping because I’m really trying to break even this month, so using whatever the hell I can find and my food isn’t slop and has actual nourishing calories. Urgh. To think I once thought she was someone like me. Raging.
A bag of bloody pears and some avcodaoes. Wheres the rest of the fruit and veg. I literally spent nearly my whole budget on meat, fruit and veg. The rest gets bought with whats left. She has no idea how to shop.

I cant with the cancer chat, i have lost too many people to even go there, she is an awful human being simply the worst.

Omfg she is on their payroll- Asda are absolute bleeps to work for. My sister 🔺 worked for them in HR for 25 years, she knew exactly how the staff were treated, by the time she (and the rest of the HR dept) left, she was regularly on the tills and they had reduced her hours down to 4 hours a week, which some weeks were spread over 4 days, including weekends. She would have to go in for an hours shift on a Sunday at 1pm. Absolute fkrs. They did this because when they, inevitably, make you redundant your redundancy pay is based on your weekly pay. They had moved all HR to HO in Leeds but kept all the staff on and just gradually reduced their hours down until they made them redundant on tit redundancy pay. Anecdotally (fool head) Asda are not “one of the better” employers in the industry by a very very long way, they are utter fkrs. I also have a brother who worked for Waitrose as a buyer and specialist, all the staff were treated like kings & queens because it’s a partnership and their role was seen as important to the business. Phew 😥 soz
The Citizens advice bureau my Mum volunteered at dealt with so many staff from the local ASDA seeking advice over things like harassment whilst on omg term sick none of them will darken their doors anymore. Many instances of messing about with allocated hours

Sending you all my love. Cancer has touched out family very painfully and it bleeping disgusts me that Jack Monroe would stoop to this level.

Actually I could share my feelings in full but I'll get banned.

I’m sorry for repeated posts and my typing is getting too fast for it to be tolerated so this will be my last for tonight.

I actually am beginning to feel sick at her behaviour right now. I don’t know whether it is because she feels cornered or whether it is because she is high from the media attention after the energy/inflation news and to be quite honest I don’t really care.

However, it is awful to see in real time. I know some of us have seen this before (Kittengate, the early 2021 days), but what she is doing right now is just inexcusable. She is lashing out to everyone, dropping triggering tweets left, right and centre as a shield and weaponising her sobriety, MH and identities to an extent we haven’t seen before.

I agree that the people giving her £24 for 2 years are naive but there will be some in her follows who are extremely vulnerable and do not deserve to witness this car crash, whatever the reason is behind it.

She is responsible for her own actions but surely someone, somewhere cares enough to intervene. What we are witnessing here is so horrible. She will not be able to look back and explain this.

Oh no. A few hours in a rare moment of sunshine in v. rural NE Scotland with a bottle of prosecco and there's another new thread :(

Can we have a wiki guide to grunking etc for us new fraus. Fanks x
My advice would be to start by reading the whole of the pink wiki at the top of the page and then read the p1 recaps of all the threads.

It took me the whole of lockdown 2 to grunk up to date so I recommend you give up all work and caring responsibilities, say goodbye to the world outdoors and get stuck in if you want to read everything from when it was all fields around here to present day, but it is worth it for the champagne owls (that will make sense later).

But her picture suggested she was in the midst of treatment, had lost her hair and needed to wear a scarf. The truth was far from this.

She is being so horrific at the moment words are beginning to fail me.

Sending ❤ to all those that her unspoilered tweets may be affecting.
She's an atrocious bleep. Do you mean a breast fibroadenoma, Jack? Which is a harmless breast lump. I know, because I've had two. Including one when my son was 6 months old. Words have meaning don't they, when it suits you?

I hate the way she talks about service users: “hungry people”. Why not just say people? They’re not baby bleeping birds, Jack. Just because they don’t have as much money as you doesn’t mean they’re useless wards of the state who would perish without you. They’re not ragamuffins crowding around the carriage of the people who’ve come from the big house. I know I’ve ranted before about the “getting people fed” thing, and this is similar. There’s something so superior about her attitude towards people.

Genuine question for fraus who work in social care or adjacent fields: do actual professionals talk about “hungry people”?
No, it's always just practical, no drama referrals and discussing actual solutions no emoting about starving poors and hungry people. Jack would find it all very dull.

I gave a friend £50 today and then I came home and ordered them shopping from Tescos.
I nipped in for coffee and they had duck all In their cupboards. No milk, no tea, nothing. They were mortified at me landing in unannounced and then they started to cry.
This can’t go on. It just can’t go on and the mood I’m in at the moment, I just want to burn everything down. I am all out of patience with this government and Jack bleeping Monroe and her middle class supporters, the supposed left who actually think telling us to rinse spaghetti hoops will help
You did the right thing. I’m so angry too.

Big love, Nellie. That was me this time last year. Couldn't tell my mum as my sister had just been diagnosed and didn't want to worry her more. I know how scary it is. Thank god for the NHS.

I will forever hold dear the anonymous people who would push an envelope through my parent's door with a supermarket voucher in when my Dad was unemployed in the '90's. I guess I didn't realise/ appreciate it at the time but there were a lot of people looking out for us and me. (By anonymous I mean I don't know who they were, my Mum probably did)

Better still, and I say this with the greatest of respect, stop giving to food banks. What do you think would happen if every food bank in the country closed it doors? Do you think the government would let people starve or do you think they’d actually be forced to increase benefits to plug the gap food banks, however well intentioned, have filled? Food banks allow the government to abdicate their responsibilities and humiliate those who are forced to use them.
If you really want to help, put what you can afford in an envelope and slip it through the door, under the keyboard or into the coat pocket of someone you know is struggling.
Allow at least one person the dignity of choosing their own food and actually help force this government to do right by people.
Sorry for the rant but some days I get so angry and today is one of those days.
I don't really agree with this.
The thing is, low benefits is only one issue, there are many others as well.
I'm on benefits myself, and think it's way more complex than that.

Interesting. I thought she was going to actually say this photo had been misinterpreted and she didn't intend to imply cancer. But omg she now says she actually bleeping did. What tf is wrong with her? Very very strange and wrong behaviour.
Both my parents and only sibling died from cancer. Thoughts now to anyone else disturbed and upset by the ghoul.
And I'm sorry I don't believe one bleeping word of her tumour story. Not one word. As if she wouldn't have trotted that out before.
